Yoyo has been taking SEB twice a day and his mouth jestures seem to be getting better. Hopefully the SEB is helping, not sure if it is helping acid in tummy or beginning of pancreatitis, but it is definitely doing something:)

Hurricane is still heading our way so shutters on second floor have begun, fun, fun, fun times:eek:

Gasoline is very hard to find, most stations yesterday were out of gas and most stores were out of water, batteries and generators. All waiting to be restocked for this morning.

Hope every one in the path of this hurricane stays safe and has all necessary supplies.

Hi Debra, great to hear that Yoyo is doing better.
I hope that the hurricane dissipates or goes far out to sea but just in case I hope you're all stocked up on supplies and everything you need.

Nice numbers yesterday. I'm glad the SEB is helping. I can't remember where in FL you are. I hope they get the supplies restocked for people. Hopefully the hurricane isn't as bad as they're saying it will be. Stay safe. Sending prayers.

Thanks Sonia......we have batteries, gas, water, food and lots of stress:woot::joyful::joyful:...they are predicting a category 4 hurricane at this time BUT that can change. They have not issued any watches or warnings at this time as I believe that they are not sure as to where it is going to make land fall. They show this huge cone covering all of Florida. They say by Saturday (48 hours away) that we should hear about watches and warnings.
The worse part of the storm of course is the destruction it makes but also the part about no electricity. I have gone thru a storm-I think it was back in 2005, can't remember anymore, and with that storm we lost electricity for over 2 weeks. Not fun!!
Maybe we will get lucky and the storm will change its' path and head back out to the Atlantic....wishful:)
 
Oh no - that sounds awful Debra. I really do hope that stinkin' hurricane loses momentum and falls apart. We lose electricity for 3 hours, and get upset.
Now they are talking about a Cat 4 by landfall.
No No, thank you, from Yoyo to the master's ears!

Awww thanks....hopefully all will be safe and that this storm won't be as bad as they are predicting. I am right below the path that they are showing on TV where the eye is. They are predicting the eye over Vero Beach which is about 90 miles north of me.
In my area last night all the gas stations closed, no gas. My BIL found 1 station open about 15 minutes from the house. Other people were filling gas tanks also to use for generators. Water was still in my food store but on the news they said that people couldn't find water or generators and had to wait for restock which was supposed to be today.
 
OMG...I forgot, today is Yoyo's BIRTHDAY!!! He is 15 years young:kiss::kiss:
He is the sweetest, loveable kitty and I love him soooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Yoyo!!

Yoyo says "Thank you Amanda and Mowgli" .....I have sooo many test strips that I can open up my own store. I have human and pet strips tucked away. I buy them when they are on sale. The pet ones are the ones that are very expensive but the human ones are very cheap especially when I keep getting coupons from CVS for 40% off. Not sure if you have a CVS near you,t are a big chain drug store.
Tomorrow I will know more about the hurricane as the news is supposed to alert us if a watch is present and then a warning. They are being very cautious in what they are telling the public this time around.
I'll update you tomorrow.
Hope Mowgli is doing ok,I didn't check his SS today. Sending :bighug:
 
I should have known you would be more than prepared! I’m in Canada so our strips are never on sale if they were I’d stockpile too!

Mowgli did well today he started in yellow and finally he is blue! I hope he visits the lagoon tonight!
