Good evening!
Getting ready for tomorrow dental. Carrier is out and being sniffed and knowing that something is up :o
Mama bean is trying to be calm and kissing him every minute telling him everything is going to be ok ;-)

I will be posting tomorrow evening 5-6 est. No insulin tomorrow morning and food is taken away at 3:30 am. Procedure is at 11:30 pm

I wish Skippy a very successful dental and a Happy Mouth afterward! :mrgreen:
(OH, I HATE dentals with the fasting and the hungry drive in the morning.....) But we know that it has to be done, right? So many kitties feel so much better when they have their dentals done.
Be good Skippy...you will be home before you know it! See you tomorrow then with an update! :razz:

I think it's great that you can feed past midnight. That should take the edge off.

Remember to test Skippy the minute you get home! And if you feel like buying some baby food as a nice soft food for him, going to the market to buy it will distract you tomorrow. :-D

And make sure they give you bupe if there are any extractions ( :o not expected, of course).

Will be thinking of you tomorrow.
 
Positive Dental Day thoughts coming your way! It will all be worth it when Skippy gets a look at his pearly whites in the mirror. I hope everything goes smoothly in the a.m. I hate those times when you have to withhold food...I think mostly because you can't explain why!
 
In addition to getting an in the door test, feed Skippy only in small amounts. The anesthesia will slow gastric motility and if he eats too much, he'll scarf and barf.
