8/29 Shooter AMPS 250, +6 43, PMPS 139

So Shooter just hit 43 at +6 and normally he doesn't nadir until +7 or +8. I just fed him a little 15% and normal 3% because it's his "lunch time." I'll test him again in a little bit.

Yes, I was shocked! lol Good thing it's Sunday and I was able to be home all day! Now I'm not sure what to do about his dose tonight. Is this an "earned" reduction or is it because of coming off of a bounce? I think I remember someone saying something to the effect of cats "coming down hard after a bounce."

@tiffmaxee Heather, I am confused by something. Your profile picture says you joined this site in December 2009 but your signature says Shooter was diagnosed in April 2021. Was Shooter in remission before? Is he a long-term diabetic? If so, I don't think you are supposed to take a reduction unless he falls under 50 on three different cycles on this dose. We need to get some help @carfurby

You might want to put a "?" in front of your post because I cannot advise but you do need to know with that 43 you got earlier.

It’s an earned reduction. Congrats. Summer the says diagnosed 4/19/21.

Why did you increase by .50? We increase by .25. That was too big an increase with her numbers. I’d go down to 2.25.

Yes, my Poppy was diabetic back then. Now I have another one. lol :banghead: I was doing a 2f (bottom of the 2 line) so I went to a 2.5. I'll go back to the bottom of the 2 line.
