Ravan is off to another great start today! I love it!!

The town I live in banned plastic bags about 10 years ago, but another issue is the reusable bags they sell are also made of material that doesnt breakdown easily, cloth bags are a great option because you can clean them but unfortunately many people miss the point and throw them away without a care because theyre easy to replace! We have a long way to go But like you posted... the little things count

Here you must "buy" the reusable bags. (usually for a dollar)
I don't see many people using them where I live. I have a whole bunch. If they get a bit dirty I throw them in the wash.

They are still good to use! Drives me crazy when I see 10 -15 plastic bags in someones cart! Aren't people concerned that Our ocean is a garbage dump!! I guess not!

I've not visited in a few days - but I'm so glad to see Ravan is doing well. Hope those kitties find their appetite...some days are like that...just kinda sleepy like.

I agree with you on the plastic - what's wrong with all those nice paper bags we used to use back in the day? They still have them in some stores - and they're completely recyclable - I use them at home for all sorts of things - very handy to have. Trader Joe only has paper bags - from recycled paper. Other stores could do the same - no one would miss all those plastic bags...
