Hi Lantus Land Friends,

I hope everyone is doing okay today. Happily, other than the hurricane affecting our friends on the gulf, the sick kitties I checked on seemed a little better today. The weather here is perfect today. The humidity is nonexistent and it was cool this morning but will be warming to 85 degrees. Since our pool closes after Labor Day, I really want to make an attempt to get there today & the rest of the week.

I hope Racci surfs those greens and doesn't do any dives. Racci has a nice high green amps this morning, great appetite, and was very lovey dovey with purrs, rubs & primping & cleaning this morning. She made a small poop first thing today so we'll get another but at least I don't have to worry about it. She did have a small asthma attack today though! We had the windows open since the weather was so nice and I guess that's what did it. They're closed now so hopefully that will be the end of the asthma today. It's too bad that even on a nice day like this her allergies bothered her.

Well, I'll talk to you later. Got to get some stuff done.

Melanie & Racci

Re: 8/29 Racci AMPS-96

Yes. I'd say that's a very nice start indeed for a nice day.

Unfortunately it's ragweed season. If I had a fire torch, I'd be melting every one I saw but there are way too many and I couldn't afford that much fuel.
I'm not breathing well either.

Hope you and Racci have a nice surf today. you too since you want to get in the pool.

Hi Melanie, very nice update on Racci, and especially the poo, as I know we worry about it! I hope you make it to the pool. We still have the high humidity yet, but it doesn't seem too bad. Thanks for all your visits and support with Maggie. Hugs to you and Racci.

Thanks Jane! It looks like Racci decided to surf for us.

Hi Rhiannon! Maybe it's the ragweed that's bothering Racci and Tarragon too then. I'm sorry you're suffering with it also! My DDIL starts her allergies this time of year also. I got a short time aat the pool but wanted to come back to check Racci and eat lunch. I haven't decided whether I'll go back again yet. ;-)

Hi Ann! I'm sorry you still have the humidity. We get it back on Friday, along with rain from the storms but 2 days without it sounds great to me now! I can't believe we're going to get more rain for days again though! This is the rainiest summer I ever saw! I wish we had more dry sunny weather. The pool was nice though. The water was cold but refreshing once you got used to it.

I finally got a picture up here! Just practicing. I can't believe how long her fur has gotten since the haircut! It's not completely grown yet but it sure has grown a lot!

Wow Racci looks so fluffy and beautiful! Sorry her allergies are bothering her. Glad you got to the pool for a bit. We had unseasonably nice cool weather here today and I took a nap on the back porch. Enjoy it while we can!

Love the pic! :) Nice day for Racci. Sorry about the asthma issues. We can't have the windows open much for the same reason. So sad because they love to have the outside air.

Wish you could have spent more time at the pool. Hope you get some rest tonight!

Hi Leslie & Melissa,

I had just finished brushing her so she was nice and fluffy still. :-D I love to brush her, I wish she would cooperate. She hates it but lets me for a few minutes then decides it's been enough and gives me a hard time. I'd love to be able to make her little ponytails& use barrettes.  I used to put little silver necklace charms on her and Calli but they kept losing them so I gave up.

It must have been so nice to nap on the porch, Leslie! I love to nap in the back yard. As it turned out I could have stayed at the pool longer since Racci never went low but who knew? By the time I finished with her test & food and my lunch I didn't feel like going back. Maybe tomorrow.

It is a shame that they can't get the fresh air Melissa. I feel so bad for her. When I opened the screen door, she ran to it and lay there half in and out while I fed the birds and when she was on her window seat she kept putting her nose at the crack wanting me to open it again. I know Tarragon must be the same.

It's time to test, give meds and feed again. I'll be back. Thanks for sharing my pic with me. I may put up more now that I figured it out.
