A yellow start, but a sort of quick drop to lower blues. Eric is working from home at least this morning (or at least I'm assuming since I don't think he's out of bed yet and he starts at 830 - I think it's a safe assumption at this point). I need to be on campus around +9 for safety training for my student supervisors (I train them first, then make them train their fellow students. It helps them retain the info to have to teach it), so I'll test just before +3, figure out what the plan is for Kit, then make a mad rush to campus. They're aware I might be a little late, and they know and understand how obsessed I am with Kit, so it'll all be fine.
My schedule this semester will be a bit rougher than I hoped. I knew MWF would be rough with a +2.75 class start time, but I've had to rearrange when shop hours are (usually 1-5 in the afternoon) because of when my student work force is available, which means I also have shop hours starting at +3 on T/TH. I have several of my supervisors scheduled at that time, so I can just send them instructions if I need to stay home longer, so that's nice. They'll have keys to areas they need to get to. But it also means I have nothing officially scheduled on Fridays after I'm done teaching around +4. Almost a whole day to plan for the next week?! Unheard of!
It's on the fourth day of classes and I'm already way more tired than I should be this early in the semester. I might need to include a nap spot in both buildings.
