Unsure if the medication he's on is affecting his BG or not (see remarks on SS). Maybe, but not overly! Tomorrow is his last day on the ear drops as long as his infection has cleared. He went down to 47 yesterday. One more and he gets a decrease!

Curious to know the name of the ear drops you're giving Dallas that might not spike BGs. It would be really helpful for so many of us here!

Easotic according to the ss and it’s got hydrocortisone in it. I see it is fir dogs but I guess used off label.

Yes, used for dogs, but also for diabetic cats as it gets metabolized in the skin layer, so it doesn't tend to cause issues with glucose in diabetics.. My vet (who is the owner of a cat only hospital) mentioned this ear drop after she's heard about it at a conference. The speaker was a dermatologist who prescribes it to diabetic cats. She assured me that it was safe for Dallas. The treatment is shorter too, but, like everything else check with your own vet before using anything on your kitty
