Oh the allergens can make their way inside for sure!
No allergies that I know of. I'd be surprised. He used to be outside most of the day with me when we had a fenced yard. Now we live in a forest and the most he gets is a deck and cat grass I planted.
Luckily the weeping went away. I've noted it though, and if it becomes recurring, we may need to do something about it.
Thanks for the input :)
Joey does he always vomit after eating the cat grass? I was thinking of planting some oat grass in a pot for my cats but I already get enough vomiting around here with my cats! In fact I just put a bathroom rug in the washing machine a few minutes ago and just finished cleaning up the bathroom floor from some spectacular vomit. People say that the cat grass is helpful in preventing constipation, but if it’s going to make my cats vomit that grass right back up - I’m not doing it!

You know, he doesn't always. When a fresh batch germinates he can go a little hog wild, and I need to cut him off or he'll puke.
But once it's been around for a few days he moderates and no issue.
The problem now is I slacked and the new grass hasn't germinated so I grabbed some from the forest. The forest grass is all rough and spiky compared to his succulent silky oat grass. It agitates his throat and I have to watch for the telltale sign of a puke happening.
This all takes place on the deck, so *usually* I can have some paper towel ready for his highness to vomit onto.

I don't know how much they would have to eat to help with constipation, but generally that amount will cause a puke in this house!

So all that to say, if you can only let them eat say 3-4 blades, and then take it away, you may get away with a vomit-free treat.

Hope that detailed saga helps!
