DH was managing today while I was in the office. On the train home I am considering an increase and then I come home and measure and he is 41. Instead I am thinking I will decrease instead. He almost made 41 and now he is already starting to go up 30 mins later. At 41 did I catch the lowest he went? Unlikely.. Its also the second drop under 50 on this dose.

What do you think?

I'd go for it. He's been at this dose long enough, and had a BCS dose in there to drain the previous shed. Hard to tell whether Tiggy has a typical nadir, but I'd guess he was lower earlier.

At some point, not sure when, you might start thinking about .25U decreases. It's usually at 5 units that we suggest people go to .5U increases so at some point the same becomes true going down. For us, it was around 3.5-4.0 units.

I agree with your logic. I'd also want to see where the numbers are at PMPS. If Tiggy did drop as low as you think, you might see a bounce and want to shoot through the bounce at PMPS.

Good idea about shooting through the bounce, he is starting to rise. Tiggys nadir is all over the place so who knows when it was today.. but looks like earlier today if anything.

I was wondering about when to go to 0.25 decreases.. You read my thoughts and answered before I asked. Maybe I will wait till 4 units... If he gets that low... touch wood anti jinx.

I did the .5 unit decreases, until they stopped being effective. Good luck on the decrease.
 
He didnt go up at all to PMPS so I took the decrease.

Probably he will bounce later tonite and through the next few days if past is anything to go by ...
