WOW I’m home. No dose this am and he’s at +10 108!!!!!

To my surprise Oreos numbers were not elevated as I thought. I was out of town all day and just came home at + 10 I’m surprised to see home at 108 with no dose. I’m think I could go a few more days dosing. Or Are we ready to trial OTJ soon?

I fed him about an hour ago. I’m not sure if I can skip dose or drop dose and see how he does. Any advise is appreciated!! Maybe I’m jumping the gun?

The number you got at PMPS might be food influenced, but again, Levemir doesn't kick in for a good while. As long as he's still eating well, I'd give him insulin.

So sorry nobody was here to answer sooner, Oreo is doing great but he still gets higher PS Values. if it were Chico i would still keep the dose 0.1 until he is a week in green and then drop to 1 drop dose and only then go for an OTJ trial. With that being said, there are some people on the board who were successful with the OTJ trial from values like Oreo’s.

With some cats whose pancreas is working a little like Oreo's, food can push BGs lower. This is a good sign. If you can monitor him, I would give him a shot because 79 is not much different from the 82 you got last night and he stayed safe for you.
