well.. a little bit of time has gone by.. and adding this new medicine to routine has gone really thankfully ok.. so glad.. some bumps here and there (the gel arrived hot…… has to be kept between 66-77 lol and idk why when you say/write something to some ppl they dont read or understand u, asking why u want some options when u just said it arrived hot… its a gel. i cant use it now. could be melted. unsafe. i dont get it.) but we’ve been managing the tablets so far, but still playing by ear on it.. im trying to decide going forward.. still get gel.. do tablets.. they do make tablets that come in the exact dose he needs so i wouldnt have to measure myself.. thinking thinking.

❓: since things settling a little more.. looks like increase is doable for us.. me haha.. (wasnt sure frm before cuz nadirs were going low on this one.. 🫤 but looks like its leveled? or is he bouncing (frm the green PS, does that happen?..)?.. idk @wendyandneko.. but when that happens its been a pattern where we have to wait and then take the opportunity when it comes anyway..) trying to adjust to the news and adding new medicine. so now if looks like need to, ok.. cuz healing was always the hopeful path.. and honestly, he dont feel good at higher numbers generally.. 🫤

i have been terribly sleep deprived ive come to see.. so im trying to get more rest myself. the first half of the year.. its been a lot. 🫩

:update: had to kinda shove the pill into his throat/mouth today.. he's smart and the treat wasn't wrapped tight/maybe big enough today.. spit it out and I makeshifts one right there.. yeah I don't like that. think will be doing skin.. know maybe less effective.. but maybe can tweak it and the less stress for us rn the better.. prefer tabs, but idk..have been so tired lately and whatever is easier might have to be the game rn.
 
question ❓: when we start transdermal, if I had to, would it be ok for me to use the ear he gets tests on?... I really don't know. :x asking just cause his other ear seems a little sensitive, more itchy or something.. but will try. (if I were or had to, I would avoid where the tests are done and do the lower ear..)

@tiffmaxee does BP get better sometimes?..
 
Did you call the pharmacy about the gel that got warm? Maybe it just doesn't last as long as it would if it had been kept cold. Not sure it would be unsafe. Worth asking.

Cats don't bounce from a green preshot. They bounce when they see numbers at any point in the cycle that is lower than what they are used to, or if they make a steep drop. Pudge spends more time in blues than greens, so he's not used to those greens yet.

Regarding using the gel on the ear you test, I suspect where you put the gel isn't near the sweet spot where you test, Transdermal meds you tend to put on the part of the ear that doesn't have much hair, which is more towards the middle and not the ear edge.

BP does get better with medication.

sure did 📞 .. went thru Chewy and they just proceeded to make us another and its supposed to be arriving tmw, in "thermal" packaging to guard against the heat.. hopefully. didn't really explain much if it was a problem or not; I asked but they just thanked me and said sending another, etc. if it comes unsatisfactorily again.. I'll call and specifically try to see what a pharmacist there says or I'll just have some .625's filled.... (exact dose, so we're not splitting anything..).. I look forward tho to having the gel and really hope we can use it.. its a little less nerve-racking but then again, will have to try that too.. haha. but I think so.. its a bit of an extra step we have rn since I need him more hungry than not so I can slip in the med treat and combining it w +2 test and snack but I know w time it would just be a little extra part.. look forward to tryin the gel anyway. lets see. 👀

good to know it'd be ok.. ya we're gonna see. I'm waiting to see what the gel meds look like in size.. (I need little finger protectors.. the ones from Walmart aint cutting it. hoping ones form Walgreens or CVS will be better quality..)

right.. I meant more could it get better by not needing medicine? but definitely making sure he's getting it.. trying our absolute best. ✨

also, planning increase tmw AM.... 👍🏼 (the past month was hard trying to be consistent w appointments and things going on.. dose was looking real good but decreases and skips might've affected everything...)

tysm friend!!!!! 🥴💖 woof!.. haha.. they are super good about replacements and refunds of any kind it seems; we have been super happy. sometimes beyond what we were expecting even..

gel came (‼️) and tho it wasn't packaged thermally.... as was stated... it was NOT hot.. maybe slightly itty bitty warm idk.. ugh. and it came in what looked like an A/Ced fedex van......... hm. 🤔 but idk. im just glad its here!! cuz hiding em in treats the treats be so big I have to like shove it in.. and today I had like only ONE good pill to give cuz they all shattered into bits!!!!!! 2 pills, that allot 4 doses each, ONE good dose if lucky today.. I had to trash 2- pills already....... horrible! perfectly good meds down the tubes...... I think will buy the already dosed version if continue pills.. but that's only if we have to.. cuz I don't like pilling, and he's smart.. he's already catching on.. I give the big treat and he won't take it initially.. but that might be cuz I'm kind of putting it in the mouth.......... yay for the transdermal.......

and he's not feeling too good so im glad we got it up like needed.. (would've maybe yesterday but.. was waiting on advice..... and since I one time did it when I shouldn't have, slightly too close, I really dont like to unless its said/okayed to.. oopsie poopsie! 😬)
