We didn't post a condo yesterday so there is no link. I didn't think I would get a chance to tonight but things have calmed down.

Tarragon did great yesterday. No coughs but yellow all day. Today was another story. The coughing started early this morning. After a couple of breathing treatments, sauna treatments and prednisolone, I took him to the ER. He couldn't get his breath and was coughing nonstop. They put him in the breathing tent for two hours and got him somewhat stabilized. His BW and urinalysis from Wednesday came back fine so they didn't do any today. They did another X-ray of his lungs and, like Wednesday, they look bad. We have upped him to 15 mg of prednisolone a day. Still no idea what is causing this other than the natural progression of his asthma. He is resting finally at home and has only coughed a few times since we got back. They do want to check his heart but don't want to cause any stress on him right now.

We are all exhausted so I probably won't get to condos tonight but know I am thinking of all you.

I bet he's so glad to be back at home, as are you.

Oh, poor Tarragon, you. ((((big hugs to you, and soft comforting skitches to Mr. T.)))) Please tell him we love him and want him to get all better. Sending healing vines and he will be in my daily prayers.

(((Melissa and Tarragon))) I hope the treatment he received at the ER and increased pred helps him. Tarragon sure has had a rough go of it this week. Sending many healing vines and prayers for sweet Tarragon and comfort vines for you and DH. Hope he has a good, restful night.

Sorry to hear Tarragon is having such a hard time. I hope he feels better soon and you both get some much needed rest. Take care and know we are thinking of you.

I am so sorry, T. That just sounds miserable for you and your beans. Scritches to you. ((((Melissa)))) and ((((DH)))). Has anything changed in your house, like new furniture or new cleaner or new soap? Sending breathing vines to your guy.

Mr. T, it's so awful having to cough over and over - Snow's going through lots of bouts too. Extra thoughts and scritches for you...

Melissa, BIG HUGE HUG, I hope you can sleep well tonight without having one ear alert all the time. Hope the extra meds do the trick for sweet boy.

hey Melissa - I a sorry that Tarragon is having such a rough time. That poor kitty. I hope he is stabilizing, breathing better. I will bethinking of you guys. You must so so so tired... and more than likely a tad bit stressed.

Tarragon - dude! I am so sorry that you don't feel good. I ad the KTSS will bring you some chicken soup and stuff, help with the vetty smell, spend some time with you, 'K? ~~ Mannie

We so hope that T. will have a restful night tonight and that the increased meds will help him to breathe easier. Melissa, I know how tired and worried you must be. We are sending a blanket of comforting snowflakes to T. tonight and some warm, mild chicken soup to soothe his throat. Feel better tomorrow, buddy.

Oh no, sounds like you guys had a terribly rough go of it.I'm so sorry you went through that!!

Melissa I'm so sorry that poor Tarragon's asthma got worse again! You must be so upset and just sick over it. That's just so scary.

I hope the breathing tank and the meds help him and let him get some relief from this rotten asthma so you both can get some much needed rest.
