Yesterday - Nice surfing with the other kittiehs! :) :)

I'm astonished to see Luci making her way back to the lagoon on only 1 u. :eek:

Have to say I was nervous that she wasn't going to bother trying with only 1 u....:nailbiting::nailbiting:
maybe (shhhhhhh)...she's on her way...the minute I say that she gets stubborn and we go back up the insulin ladder...but she's sure looking good now...:D

Happy, healthy, purring..and sitting up on the counter where we test when I turned around from making my coffee...she knows the routine! :cat: She hears the timer going off and saunters into the kitchen now...it's so funny...not even a year and that girl knows exactly what's going to happen!:smuggrin::smuggrin:

Happy Sunday to all the kittiehs and beans out there in L&L land - let's all go to the lagoon today and have a swim, some surfing and a few cattinis on the beach under those cute blue umbrellas...:cool:keep 'em low kids, (the blue umbrellas that is)..no sharks!!! :cool:

I hope Lou stays to party with everyone today! I think he's been missing the parties too often nowadays, and it's shaping up to be a good one today! It never ceases to amaze me how accepting cats can be to this whole diabetes process. I remember thinking Lou would NEVER let me give insulin or test or what have you. And while Lou's not nearly as "trained" as Luci, he still understands what we're doing. He obviously gets that I'm not trying to hurt him and instead I'm trying to help. Lou likes to "run away" at BG check and shot times. My favorite is he'll come right up to me to be checked, and then walk away before I can reach down and grab him. Or he'll leave his food dish at shot time, walk really fast past me, but then slow down and rub up against the wall, looking back at me asking if I'm coming. It's like he's okay with it all, but he just can't not make me work for it, haha! Silly kid!
 
Lagoon time sounds good (hear that Olive, she still prefers the night swims by moonlight) its the last Sunday before school starts so beach time is definitely in order.
 
Well...she wasn't having any of it today...I guess she heard my thoughts about how impressed I was doing on her 1 u...:arghh:And now she's gotten lazy and decided not to do a darn thing...now she's off to pawty with all the kittiehs for the Sturgeon Moon...tomorrow she'll be impossible to live with...all that dancing and cuttin' up...it'll make her sleepy and grouchy if I bother her...silly girl:facepalm:

@Amanda and a Loudogg - oh I hear ya loud and clear - Luci likes to be ridiculous sometimes too:rolleyes:...she rarely comes to me on the counter - mostly her moves are to prance over to the dining room chairs, arch her back and look at me...'ya want me? come and get me'...every now and then she slides right on under the chairs knowing full well that I can't get down there and grab her out from under them...I have to chase her all around the table with all those chair legs in the way...she's a real tool when she gets like that...:blackeye: I think the only one around here who's actually 'trained' is me :woot: @Bellasmom -Luci got lazy and decided she'd rather lay far away from the lagoon..she wandered close enough to grab a cattini from Bella...but wouldn't stick around for the action on the water...I don't know what's up with her...sheesh :( . Looks like Luci was a bad influence on @Olive & Paula too...at least Olive was having fun chasing her ball!! Looks like @Amanda and a Loudogg was on the lagoon surfing all by himself today...good boy!!:cool::cool:
