Good afternoon LL and Happy Birthday Z MAN!!!!!

LBG was up and playing early today.....everything in her path got a drive-by whack but they were gentle whacks. Then she climbed on her meowlounger and patiently waited for her test and breffis. When I finally made it out to the catio for coffee and cat time, she was rolling back and forth on her back on the flagstone, nanner hugged tight to her little brown stripey chest and she would occasionally give it a nibble. All is happy in Gracieland! She is now helping Dr. G. with Gussie's Reiki treatment.   Luckily, she never whacks Gussie.

So far, no big bounce from the 32 yesterday so paws crossed on that and paws crossed on her holding the reducie and flattening out some in.....green....please, Principessa?

It's been an interesting last week around the property. We recently had the bobcat drinking out of the fountain RIGHT by our bedroom/patio door. Then there was the lovely encounter with the tarantula in the house Saturday night. Last night, I was hauling the recycling bin up to the cul de sac (we live on a private road and they don't come down here) and it was about dusk. I'm always wary of rattlesnakes and didn't see any but I parked the bin, turned around, came right back and I had missed seeing a 10" long baby rattlesnake in the road   And I had on flipflops. Yikes! Always an adventure in our Wild Kingdom.

Have a great day!

I hope Gracie keeps sliding down today. Wow on the baby rattlesnake. I'm glad you didn't step on it.

Re: 8/26 Gracie AMPS 160 +2 125 +5 114

Glad Gracieland is settling down & Her Majesty is all in blue today, waiting to ascend her Green Throne....

If you figure out how to get her to stop bouncing, let me know, OK?

Looks like the wild critters are keeping you company! Did your kitties see the bobcat, too? I remember when Spankey saw a bear on the porch of the 1800's cowboy shack next to our adobe - he was very still & just --- stared. My 'furst' clue something was up...... ohmygod_smile

Scary about the rattlesnake baby, tho'. They just don't get along well with flip-flops! Lucky you didn't step on or near it, Marje. You have good animal karma for sure!

Marje, I think Gracie is trying to tell you that you got what you asked for
green....please, Principessa?

Haha next time you have to ask her for some "safe greens"

Come on up Gracie!! Surf safely!!!

guess you can sport some of these instead....
boot-flip-flops.jpg

but somehow I think they'd just go for the toes....

tarantula's and scorpions and rattlesnakes... oh my....

I think I'll stick with my bears and raccoons and chipmunks...
well.
maybe not the chipmunk. they cost too much.

Gracie's liking the green for now.

Looks like someone wanted a little higher carb mid afternoon snack!   She does like to keep you on your toes.

Rattlesnakes, tarantulas, scorpions, ... Anything else fun out in Tucson? I think I'd wear steel boots if I lived there.

Thank you all for visiting. Love the "boots" Rhiannon    Maybe I need some steel-toed flip flops, Wendy ;-) ;-)

Somebody got tired of green but we're just hoping for one of her little blue bounces. Maybe a little flatter green tomorrow more on the 70 side?

  for that 41! Gracie!!
I'm glad she's feeling good!
Your Wild Kingdom sounds like something out of the Discovery Channel! :-D

Lucy gets Reiki treatments too.
I'm happy to know you do that too.

Yep, Dale. The baby's venom is more concentrated and they also don't control how much they give. For example, an adult is able to distinguish what is prey and what is not so if its not prey, it doesn't release all it's venom. Babies don't know yet and so they release all the venom at once.

Bobcats and tarantulas and rattlesnakes, oh my! The Arizona version of Oz. Good thing those kitties are there to protect you.
