I thought I had already posted today's AMPS, but I must be losing it, since I do not see it.

Anyways, Gideon is bouncing, and stayed in the BLACK last night, but was int he PINK this morning. I plan to test +2 (which was 327), +4, and +6.

I know there is no magic formula to follow, but if I can get ahead of his decreases into GREEN, I think that would be best to prevent this constant bouncing. Now I work tonight, and am hoping his +3 BG isn't too low. Don't want to ask husband to test in the middle of the night.

Thank you all.

Oh Gideon do you want to drive mama crazy by clearing the bounce while she’s at work? It’s not going to make her stay home if that’s what you think.

My husband did say he will get up "once" during the night to test Gideon....yay!
Should I keep testing every 2 hours until I leave for work at 9p?
Should I leave Nulo (9% carb) food out for the night, or higher carb food?

I dint think you need to test every two hours. I’d just get a PMPS. He’s carb sensitive so I dint know that you need higher carb but I would see what the PMPS is. Your husband can leave out higher carb tonight if needed I think.

OK. So Gideon's PMPS =431. I scared myself, because when I read it, I initially saw "43"! It was 431, so he has not cleared this bounce yet. I thought he was clearing his bounces quicker, but this one is hanging on. he is currently chowing on some Wellness Kitten Pate. It is either 5 or 6% carb. After his 10p test, I will have my husband leave out some 9% Nulo. He will get up at +6 to test, unless the +3 gives him a surprise of being a lot less than he anticipates.

Handling a diabetic kitty is definitely like another job, but so glad I can work from home during the day, or else I couldn't do this.

Thank you all.
