AMPS 321..............Had sunny yellow night so not to bad but think we are going to go back up to a s3. I think it was working the best (I also think 3u is just a tad bit to much). May wait and do it tomorrow morning since I need some sleep tonight and dont want to have to worry all night long. I have to be at the school at 7:30 am and that means getting up at 5:45 am to get read and leave (40 minute drive in morning rush hour).

Re: 8/26 Doogle AMPS 321

Howdy,
Are you going to be around at all tomorrow?
Just a few days ago when you were on that 3, you had some nice low greens.
You are likely to do that again.

If you are gone all day.
I'd be wanting a fat 2.75 to see where that went.
That's just my opinion.
I'm not an advisor.

You did it that one day and didn't give it a few days to play out. It looks like it had potential.

Re: 8/26 Doogle AMPS 321

My husband stays home and takes care of all the testing. He is fantastic! We didnt mean to not do the f2.75 again but to be honest there isnt much difference between the dosage (just a drop or 2). The reason we got off the f2.75 is because I was gone and my husband got weird readings one AM and when he felt comfortable doing it 30 mins later he just forgot and did up a 2.75. We were getting better results with the s3 but I will decide what to do later. We have gotten pretty comfortable with dosing and become pros at handling low greens (we can surf with the best now).

Re: 8/26 Doogle PMPS 278

Ok stayed with the 2.75 for now. But when the Dh gave him his shot (had to poke him twice because Doogle hiccuped) he pulled the syringe out and saw a tiny drop of blood that he thinks was in the syringe. So what does this mean?

Re: 8/26 Doogle PMPS 278

sounds like the plunger sucked in a bit of blood.
Have you watched him with the syringe? Is he tenting the skin and getting it just under the skin?
He might have nicked something? But the shot would have likely hurt and you would have gotten a response.

Things happen. If Doogle didn't respond to it, probably okay.
DH might have also pulled out a little sideways?

Re: 8/26 Doogle PMPS 278

I wasnt watching but he is pretty much a pro at this now. He is the only one that does this and was a vet tech for 3 years. I think he just hit a capillary or from poking twice. Just checked him and he is 334 so it didnt hit the vein.

Hey, Big D, you're going the wrong way. Back down to yellow, and then blue. How nice to already know how to give a shot. :-D
