Good Morning, Everyone,
Another high (for Rusty) AMPS (tested twice and got 183 and 184). I really didn't think I gave a fur shot last night. Yesterday Rusty came down nicely, but when he hadn't gone lower than PMPS at PMPS +4.5, I suspected a fur shot. Edward said he smelled insulin in the air last night, but not on Rusty's fur. I didn't smell anything. We'll see what happens today. I may fatten the dose tonight if it seems that what we are seeing is a new pattern and not fur shots. Maybe it's time to make an appointment with the new vet for a complete wellness check (with blood tests, etc.) to have as a baseline. I'll see how it goes today. We had a good night, breakfast in 2 installments, and now a nap on the couch. Warm, muggy weather: ugh! Rain this morning.
We had a small earthquake yesterday afternoon. The house shook for about a minute. I thought it was the water-main replacement going on on the next street, but this morning on the radio we heard that there had been a minor quake near the Canadian border. Today I have to do the shopping for my friend's visit this weekend. We'll be doing a bike ride on Saturday (some of our friends here who ride will come along) and maybe an easy paddle on Sunday (weather dependent). After the bike ride the cyclists will come here for an extended lunch.
Everyone have a good day today.
