Yesterday was a mostly blue surf, followed by a lagoon visit at night. And more yummy gravy so the bean could sleep.

I must be getting very predictable at night. As soon as I finished that +5.5 test last night, Neko immediately followed me into the kitchen. She's been getting way too much gravy in the middle of the night. :roll: :lol:

Neko was pretty feisty during our test this morning. Normally she just settles down, we do some scritches, then the poke. She usually doesn't want to get going until after I've taken the blood drop. Then she wants to get straight to the treat portion of the event. But today she just didn't want to settle down. Not sure what was up. She's done a couple of deck visits already, and is camped beside Otto.

I guess it's back to more painting today. It's another sunny one but predicted to start rain tomorrow. I could have gone rowing today, but it's Deep Cove Daze and our little beach is going to be nuts. DH still went as he is coaching but the tide is high and the place is going to be packed. I think my body could use the break too.

Nice start for Neko this morning. I hope she surfs for you today. Every now and then Furball will get fiesty at test time and not want to be poked. I think they're just being cats.

Well, I clearly guessed wrong last night. Neko's nadir is highly variable, but often when she starts out like she did last night, it's around +5.5. Clearly she kept on going down last night in spite of the gravy. So we have a mega bounce today. :YMSIGH: Pokey pass day.

@Carla - so much for a blue surf. :roll: This is the first time Neko's been so antsy, which is why I was surprised. But it could be just being a cat. :lol:

@Lara - Neko loves to bounce during the day and go low at night most of the time. Hard on my sleep patterns. She does adore her treats though!

@Rachel - I think they get addicted to gravy, even the civie wanted his share. :lol: Taking a small painting break, but back at it soon. I had a wasp fly up my pant leg. :shock: Time to put long socks on.

@Liz - Neko's usually pretty laid back unless she needs to use the LB or I'm in between her and food. So not sure what was up this AM. I'm still working on the deck palings, almost done the ones along the front which is the long side. Once the deck is done, there's still the back and side of the house. It's all brush work.

Hi Wendy - sorry to be so MIA of late. I just don't know where all the time has gone.

I sure liked that amps. but Neko.... where did that pink come from? Enjoy that pokey pass. :-D Too funny on her following you to the kitchen. gravy time! Mannie would do that sometimes too. Kinda funny. ;-)

I hope your painting is going well... tedious I am sure, but bet the end result is nice.

We had sun today too, until about 4 or so, then the clouds started moving in. No rains yet, but I hear they are coming.

Nice sunny day today.
Just came by to see how Neko is doing.
I hope this morning's Neko's odd behavior is just her being a cat.
She came down nicely after the mega bounce. :smile:
Maybe she's working extra hard to get gravy tonight.

By the way, I found the Blue Kat at the nearby Bosley's on Davie today. :shock:
I go there often, but I never peeked at their freezer before.
I got kangaroo, wild boar, venison, chicken and turkey.
I'll try for Ginger soon, but Lucy will have to wait till she clears the diarrhea. :roll:

I wonder what had her distracted this morning....maybe she was just feisty from her great numbers.

Quite the drop into PMPS, causing a mini bounce in the evening. :roll: Neko had a good yard patrol after dinner - she almost missed her date with Otto (feeder). :o

@Nancy - Double bounce today. :roll:

@Michelle - I know on the time. I'm spending as much time while it's dry outside painting so haven't been in LL as much this last little while. It's slow work, but the house sorely needed it. Showers supposed to start tonight. Neko just gave me a pass to go to bed. Two passes in one day. :shock:

@Mariko - We'll see if I get odd behaviour tomorrow. One mega bounce over, and onto the next one. :roll: I'm curious to hear how Ginger likes the Blue Kat. Mine like all flavours, although it took Theo a while to warm up to turkey.

@Marje - I think I'm aborting too many cycles, Neko knows the gravy routine. :lol: :lol: Darn variable nadir cats! I should have gotten up at +8, hind sight is 20/20.
