I haven't been able to get to a lot of condos. What's new with everyone - anyone want to do a summary/newscast?

Claudia and Rocket need thoughts/prayers/vines so Rocket can fight another good fight.

Garland is grooming and seeing small improvements in her. Violet is doing an amazing job managing little children and a feeding tube and learning about diabetes and feline hepatic lipidosis.

Lanky is improving after his ER visit also and feeling well enough to go outside.

Victoria wants everyone to know that I am a BAD MOM! Horrible Mom. After a day of avoiding me she is back to sitting on my lap though.

I couldn't find her yesterday morning. She wasn't anywhere. Not in the basement, her windows, anywhere. I was so worried she slipped out when my husband went to work. I then realized that the bedroom closet had been open last night and I shut the door so Hefner wouldn't go in. I was standing there folding clothes and he was going to look in the closet. So I go and open up the closet and boom out comes Victoria. She spent the whole night in a teeny closet mashed full with clothes. I've been going through all the clothes and its all mashed in there as I got bored of that. So she had to crash on piles of clothes. She had diarrhea in the litter box. The poor thing didn't have an accident. But she didn't make a peep all night or morning either to let us know we had imprisoned her. I felt horrible. And to think someone returned her to the shelter for peeing outside the litterbox (massive UTI) and let her ears freeze off. She is the sweetest cleanest loving-est cat I could have asked for.

Bad Mom. Bad. ohmygod_smile She's forgiven me : ) : ) : )

Aww. She probably slept a lot and enjoyed the dark quiet soft napping place. Of course she was happy to be released, but I bet she did sleep most of the time and that's why you didn't hear anything.

BigMac once was shut in a bedroom for all night and day when some workers closed the door. He apparently just slept on the bed. I didn't realize how long he was gone because at that time, (pre-diabetes), my DH fed in the a.m. and I did the evening. I just happened to comment that he didn't come to eat... my DH then said he didn't show up for breakfast either. Yikes!
Unfortunately for the bedspread.... he had to pee after the day and a half stuck in the guest room.

I should have known something was up when his sister acted so affectionate and happy and ate from both bowls. She KNEW he couldn't challenge her. Stinker.
Now whenever Cappi acts cocky, I start looking to see if BigMac is stuck somewhere.

bwahahaha funny cat stories! i'll bet Big Mac & Victoria were just "this is so cool - let me sniff around!" reminds me of the story about Corduroy getting closed in a furniture store overnight. Do you know the Corduroy stories? loved them - i think i liked them more than my kids did!

although a day and a half, big mac was probably just a teeny bit hungry!

Aww, sweet Victoria would never think that of you. She is ever so grateful to have you and DH as her Beans. It is unthinkable of someone giving her up so easily and her poor ears, too! I once found my GA Siamese, when he was a teenager, in a top kitchen cabinet over the refrigerator. He had opened it and it slammed shut, and he didn't make a sound either. Give Victoria some scritches and belly rubs from me and Maggie.
