Good Morning LL,

All is well with Leo, he thinks dog cousin Daisy has worn out her welcome here and has been hissing all morning! We had a good test, shoot and feed this morning, with the 2nd breffis just finished up. Leo got carbed twice yesterday (AM and PM) and i'm not sure if a mouse was caught over at his grandparents, he was outside all night until we rolled in at about 11 last night.

We stayed with grandma until about 10 or so and she was refusing to go to sleep and kept saying she was scared. I sat with her and looked thru her photo albums and she was telling me who each person was in the photos, which is pretty amazing considering she's been out of it everytime i've seen her recently.

Thanks to everyone who dropped by yesterday with kind words about my grandmother and family, i appreciate it.

Leo is looking good even when he is not happy with the dog cousin around.

I haven't been keeping up with everyone like I should and wanted to tell you that I am thinking of you and especially your grandma. The best thing you can do is be with her, reminisce like you were doing with the photos, and give her lots of love. She may not always know who you when you are visiting her at the hospital, but she will know that you are someone who loves her very much.

So glad you got to go spend time with your grandma and look through pictures. That is wonderful and I am sure she enjoyed it as well.

Leo is looking good! He just has to show the dog who is boss!

Hi guys .. lovely start to the day leo! So glad you got to spend some time with your grandma .. and so glad to hear she was remembering people in photographs .. When we would visit my grandpa at his nursing home, he never knew our names .. but he knew we were there to see him, cause he would always point and smile when he would see us .. it's a good feeling ...

Hi Tracy!!! Leo is doing his amazing normal Leo-thing with the BGs!! Glad he's showing Daisy who's boss. I always think it's funny when cats refuse to be typecast and they scare the dogs instead of the other way around!

You're a good kid to spend time with your grandma. She may not remember things from one day to the next, but she knows when you're with her. You'll always have those memories!!

Lovely numbers for Leo today.

Often those older memories are the strongest. Take notes on those photos, we have so many old family photos and no one knows who are in them.

Tracy, I agree with Ann. My mom left us with lots of photos, with unnamed people in them.
As your grandma tells you stories about these folks , it would be nice to jot down names, and relationships.
 
That's actually a really good idea Ann and Barb, I showed my dad his grandparents and great-grandparents photos and even he had no idea who they were.

Well looks like a repeat of this mornings BG readings, which is just fine with me, Leo can take his sweet time on this dose.

I was getting his syringe ready, watching tv at the same time and the needle fell, I looked down and it was sticking straight up on my thigh...........I didn't even feel it!!! So Leo must be faking pain when he gets pissy when I shoot him :lol: Im such a bonehead, lesson learned though........PAY ATTENTION TRACY!!!
