Well Elian was a wee bit higher than I hoped for this morning but he's still doing great! I reduced him to what I'm hoping is .1u. Fingers and paws crossed he'll continue to stay in the green on such a tiny bit. I will be in and out throughout the day but will test when possible. I know you can do it, E-man!!!

So he was at 67 pmps - I shot it but I honestly don't even know if he got anything! I drew up what I think is .1 and will hope for the best! Will test again once or twice before bed to see where he's at. Is it normal to drop from 84 +10 to 67 pmps? He may have snacked before I tested - not sure.

here is my thought - how about another day or two of your .1 or even a drop of insulin and then I'm wondering if it might be time to put Elian on trial.......something to think about....and if he needs a good lawyer - talk to Ollie - he used Johnny Catechron and he just go him off with time served!

let's get more thoughts, but i'm a thinking it may soon be time.....

I think you want to try to hold that 0.1U dose for a week. Just a little tiny bit of support for the pancreas for a bit longer. Then Hillary's suggestion can come to fruition. And I get to come up with my horrible rhymes to cheer you on!

Thanks! I'll take it a day at a time - one shot at a time! But planning on the week and hoping to go to trial sooner, if warranted. So exciting!!! And scary, of course. I was really surprised by that 67. I'm guessing that with such a small dose there isn't much of a shed to take into consideration, if a shed at all. Am I wrong?
