Hi LL,

Eddie slid down last night out of the pinks and surfed blues for a while, but popped back up to pink at PS this AM. DH got home from work early today, so he got an extra afternoon test in, and Eddie's still slowly sliding down. Hopefully, he'll continue to surf or slide (gently) down to PMPS. I love blue pre-shots, although sometimes Eddie likes to drop like a rock off a long slow slide like this. I'm dreading seeing another stinky pinky at PMPS.

Eddie was sleeping in the sunshine at lunchtime and rolled over for sun-warmed belly rubs. DH has been texting me pictures of Eddie being all cute and snuggly this afternoon. I'm totally jealous that I'm stuck at work and can't get me some Eddie snuggles!

Thanks everyone for the visits last night. I'm curious to see what the "verdict" is regarding the use of R with Eddie, or if there's any other suggestions to help try to get him off the roller coaster.

Vines and hugs to everyone in need today.

Hi Jen. I'm waiting and curious to see what the pros decide as well. Max never used to be on the diving team but is now. He used to be more predictable where at least I knew a high/higher am/pm meant less monitoring but not so much now. When I look at Eddie's numbers today it is so confusing. The only difference is that I have (so far, anti-jinx) been able to prevent the need for reductions. I don't know how you can do that so again curious to see what strategy is suggested. Hang in there. :YMHUG:

Re: 8/25 Eddie AMPS 364, +6/264, +9/176, PMPS 229

Thanks Elise.

Today's cycle was a pretty classic cycle-long bounce-clearing slide for Eddie. He's come up a bit at PMPS, so it's hard to guess whether he will continue up tonight into another bounce or possibly bounce break into an early dive. The +1 and +2 tests should give us a clue where he is headed.

Poor guy. With his recent diving antics, he rarely gets a break from pokies these days. Good thing he's a good sport and trusts that all the poking and prodding are what makes him feel better. In fact, he's napping beside me right now. cat_pet_icon

Looking back the doses that keep Eddie in normal numbers for the longest with the least bouncing are also the doses that drop him too low eventually despite efforts to hold his numbers up, so he gets a reduction and starts the roller coaster again.

All we can do is all we can do.

I hope that PMPS means Eddie will give you a nice surf tonight and not bounce.

Re: 8/25 Eddie AMPS 364, +6/264, +9/176, PMPS 229, +1/350

Hi Carla, thanks for visiting.

+1 = 350. Guess that answers the question about which direction tonight's cycle is headed.

I don't see a condo yet today so writing here. It looks like Eddie has cleared the bounce so I hope he surfs the afternoon and continues on into tonight's cycle.
