He's doing really well! If you wanted to think about using a digital calipers to dose small doses, they are very helpful being more consistent.
Let us know and we can point you to the sticky on this site with information on how to use them.
I use calipers and find them very helpful, especially since syringes can be poorly marked consistently

thank you Staci! yes he has been responding really well to the insulin + diet change I think -- still hopeful that remission could be possible (no signs yet saying it's not possible at least).
I may try the caliper method, Wendy suggested it to me with some of the info for it! Gonna try by hand a couple more days to see if I can get the hang of it by hand or not <3

ok I just ordered calipers they’ll help so much. i just need the spreadsheet to calibrate it if anyone can hook me up?
The link I gave you previously on using calipers has a list of different types of syringes and what the measurement is for 1 unit. So just divide that by 4 and you are good to go. The video is also useful to show you how to use the calipers.

No need for a spreadsheet. It's not that complicated.
It would take longer to do a SS than just simple multiplying.

zero it out at 0 units, measure at 10 units and divide that by 10 to get mm/U right?

another green, but given steep drop gonna check at +3 and see how he's doing before going to bed

only gave him tbsp of LC food at +1, seems to be stable now. have a safe and good night everyone
