Gotta love the bounce and NDW combined...yuck! Hopefully Cobb will come back down on his own. I didn't want to add fuel to a potential fire if the dosecrease takes and adding R on top of it. Playing it safe, I know. But since I'm not there to monitor, I figure safer is better.

I hope we're honing in on a good dose for Cobb though. We did see green twice on the 22u, so maybe a pinch more is what he needs. Fingers crossed!

Not much else to report this morning. We had a great weekend. Spent a little time in the pool, and Matty played in his wagon outside. He loves it when we strap him in and run up and down the street. He loves the running...my legs do not. I'm not really much of a runner, although I'd like to be. I've always figured running is a great workout and I'd love runner's legs. But my lungs have never cooperated with me and running. I've never figured out how to get the breathing down right. Any suggestions from you runners? I'm not running a marathon, just around the neighborhood...which is pretty hilly. So much lungs pretty much go:  And then I feel like this :dizcat But I'd like to feel like :thumbup Hehehe  I know you're loving my use of the emoticons this morning.

Have a great day everyone! Healing vines to all who need them!

Yuck - I hate NDW. :-x Paws crossed Cobb gets over it soon and says goodbye to pink for a while.

I'm not much of a runner, but do a sport (rowing) that requires good lungs. We do a lot of interval training to build the intensity. I'll try translating into running. Start with brisk walking for a four minutes, run for a minute or two, then back to walking for four, then run for a minute or two again, repeat until you've done 1/2 hour or so, then a cool down walk. Repeat the next day or two. Gradually increase the ratio of running to walking over the days. Over time you can also mix it up with slow runs and fast runs, longer time at the slow run then a burst of fast running, then back down again. You are teaching the heart to recover as well as increase quickly.

Hi Suzanne:

I am not a runner, either. Never have been, never will be. For exercise I do walking videos, and there are some that have interval training - walk fast three minutes, jog two minutes, walk fast, jog, etc. I find, when I do those regularly, my breathing gets much better. If you're interested in trying them I recommend Fast Start. The preview video is of the other workout on the DVD, which does not include jogging. The other one I really like is The Big Burn. The leader, Leslie Sansone, can be a little silly, but it's a great workout and I enjoy them. The prices are pretty reasonable, too.

I hope Cobb breaks the bounce soon and gives you a nice, safe surf.

Thanks for the recommendations, Wendy and Trisha! We're also talking about buying an elliptical so I can workout after Matty goes to sleep, which lately is when I've been going to sleep. I haven't quite found that "me" time in addition to working full time and getting to see my baby.

Well, Cobb decided to surf those 340s, didn't he? I told him it was entirely too high and he needs to come down now...but he's a cat so he probably just laughed in my face.
