It's nice to see Checkers coming down from the pink zone. Surf well today Checkers.

I am sorry on the pain level for Checks. It is so hard, isn't it? I will hope that the pain diminishes some for him today, that the bupe will work its magic. I am guessing that he is at he max that he can have? Can you add another dose sometime in the day? sorry I am so clueless on all of this.... I am keeping you in my thoughts today. Hang in there. You will know when and if it is time. Checks will tell you. Hugs Barb, big hugs.

Oh Barb! I'm sorry that checks is feeling so bad. I know how you must feel seeing him in pain.

Did you see Hillary's note about the dental supplement she is giving her cats? It is supposed to be good for gum disease and joint health! http://www.elitesciencevet.net/products/1-tdc-perio-joint-health-for-cats-small-dogs-120-soft-gels you can get it at ADW. I'm going to give it a try for Emma. Snooping around their site they have it as a topical also for humans. I wonder if it could be used for cats that way?

J.D. is on the same stuff as Hillary mentioned. He gets one capsule a day. I put a small hole in the end with a lancet and squeeze the capsule and smear it around his gums. It's supposed to be good for both gums and joints.

Thanks Ann and Dyana. I'll look later, it's almost shot time now. He's had dental issues all his life, maybe it could help.
The damage to his spine may be too far gone for any help, but I'm grateful for the link.

Thank you for kind thoughts and wishes Everybody. He's been hanging out in his cube most of the day. It's on the couch, so it's comfy for him. He doesn't have much appy today.
He seems more comfortable tonight, than this morning, at least. He's had his 3 doses of bupe today.
Now if he would like to come down a floor or two, that would be nice.

I wonder if it's the Clindamycin doing this, but he gets only one dose in the morning, it should be gone by now, I'd think.
 
Barb, so sorry to know that Checkers is in pain. Hope you find a way to help him. Can a hot water bottle in his bed help? Cats are very sensitive to climate change.

I'm so sorry Checkers isn't feeling well. I hope it's just the clindamycin.

Have you asked Dr. Dave if he can try a Grady cold laser on Checkers spine? It helps with arthritis, spondylosis, etc kind of pains.

Sending him healing vines.
