I tried to give Buster some Tramadol, as my vet instructed, but I just can't get him to take it. I have a pill popper but that isn't working. I used to be able to pill him like that but not anymore I guess. I am going to get some pill pockets today. Hopefully, he'll take the bait. I tried cheese last night but he wouldn't go for it. Numbers are holding strong, so I can't imagine he's in that much pain.

Temperature is only supposed to be 93 today. Such a relief!! Looks like it might rain too - hooray!

No, Mary. Buster soooooo doesn't want that pill! BUT...I tried the pill pockets tonight and he loves them! I put several by his dinner (one of them had an extra special treat inside...shhhh!) and he ate them all! Pain meds are on board! Now let's see what happens next! Gotta turn these blues into greens - I know he can do eet! Patience...

Ya know, I may have learned a trick or two hangin' round here! LOL! All I know is just when I think I get it, Buster throws a curve and then I feel like I don't know Jack. +3 is coming up in about 10 minutes...

If he quits eating it in a pill pocket, you can have it compounded. My cats never did well with it.
