Good Morning, Everyone,

It's a beautiful sunny, cool morning here. Edward just finished baking bread. Rusty grazed on his breakfast and is waiting to go outside. I worked on cleaning up my bike after yesterday's trip through dirt, mud, and rocks. We are going to go for a walk this morning and this afternoon to the exhibition and sale of paintings done by the 88 artists from all over the country who came to Saranac Lake to participate in the annual Plein-air painting weekend. They had pretty good weather in which to paint outdoors.

Wishing all a fine day. Sending vines to all in need.

Sounds like quite the bike ride yesterday. You are tough, Ella. :-D Rusty, how about a little Lagoon action today for the Meister?

Hi again,
Rusty is having a good day of numbers. Now, if he can refrain from zooming up at PMPS we will have a cycle like the ones of old ((anti jinx).

The art show was really neat. We even bought a painting: a small watercolor of a view at the VIC. We always admire that view when we walk the trails there.

Our canoes are up on the car waiting for tomorrow's early start. The paddle is on the Oswegatchie River, about a 2-hour drive from here in the western Adirondacks (near Cranberry Lake). It is a wonderful paddle and we hope this good weather will continue another day. Rusty will hold the fort and be served his lunch and snacks by his Automat.

bbl,

Ella & Rusty

Looks like a great couple of cycles for Rusty today. Short stay on shore and back to business later tonight?

Enjoy the paddle, sounds like a good one. The art show sounds neat - I like outdoor shows.
