Yesterday was on "off" day

Good Morning, Lantus Land! Yay! Back to normal... for now. VERY full of himself this morning. Getting his AMPS today was two person job. I can't figure out why he's being such a stinker - maybe it's me. I might try some chicken pieces I have in the fridge for a nernie instead of the bonito flakes. I don't think it's seasoned (lol - boxed supermarket chicken).

WCR: All that being said - he was purring like a luxury sports car when I picked him up for his test - he'll come to me, but only for his bonito flakes, any "extra" (i.e. getting him in my lap) is on me! Very alert and responsive - currently watching out "his" window for entertainment.

Have a great day, Kitties & Their People. :-D

Not a bad start for the day! I will point out that there are no PM spot checks last night and only a +1 the night before. Don't assume that because you get a higher than desirable pre-shot that numbers will stay high. You could get some unexpected surprises. Also remember that the +1 typically reflects a food spike and will be higher than your PS number. In other words, try to get a few more checks in during the evening cycle. A before bed test is always good.

Yeah, Rufus and I usually cooperate at testing time. Yesterday was pretty rocky for both of us (most likely because of me). My allergies don't seem to be the cause of my fatigue, because they're fine today, but I'm still exhausted. I think it's a bug, seeing as how I was able to get in a completely unintentional nap from 9:20am to 1pm after having woken up only at 6:30 today. Rufus' testing has suffered because of it. ohmygod_smile

I think I'm getting better now, though - he's also cooperating more with the addition of the chicken to our routine. It turns out the chicken is roasted with lemon juice, but it claims it's gluten-free (don't know why it wouldn't be).

We're going to poke for a +11, PMPS, and a +3 (bedtime) tonight - if everything goes well, that is.

It turns out that tomorrow is his appointment with the vet - thought it was Friday - so we can show off his spreadsheet. Hopefully she'll be happy with his progress. It turns out that she supports hometesting. *Yay!* So I won't have to be doing any "but, but, but"s. :-D

Missed +11, his ears are looking a little sore.

328! Oh, Pretty Pink Princess. :( Well, I was kind of waiting for him to go wonky today. Hopefully we'll have him steady tomorrow. Getting a +3 for sure - we'll see if he'll let me have his left ear.

Hi!

What's the vetty appointment for? Just a check up and to show off SS?

I won't noodle you for no tests last nite, Sienne already did!
But it's understable if you're feeling like a bag of pooh grumpy_cat lol!!

Ok, ok, back on track, and wishing you good vetty vibes tomorrow. :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon
