Yesterday's thread

I think her numbers are higher this morning because she wouldn't stay in the one room that currently has AC, and instead slept in the closet that was closer to 85.

They are hopefully able to fix the compressor today and reinstall our AC, but she'll be in the bedroom with the AC (and all of her needed stuff) with the door shut so she can't get out into the warmer apartment while I go in this afternoon. Then I'll be home this afternoon and will request to keep the mobile unit until the apartment cools down sufficiently.

Luckily today is the last day of high 90s with real feels close to 115. So gross.

Sooooooon! Tomorrow will still be high 80s,but without the crazy heat index. And the weekend is supposed to be in the 70s! I am so ready!

She isn't super thrilled to be trapped in one room, but her numbers came down, so I'll take it. She's protesting by leaving lots of fur on the bfs pillow.

Might have also been a mini protest bounce from last night's limes.

Couple years ago we had a heat dome here, didn't even get cool at night. We slept downstairs, cat slept upstairs on her heat reflective pad. Desert creatures after all.
