8/24 Dallas AMPS 144, +5 47 Never been this low

Has he eaten anything between AMPS and now? When they start the cycle a little lower, they need more tests and snacks earlier in the cycle to keep them surfing safely.

Give a little hc and check in 20-30 minutes. Keep him hungry so just a couple teaspoons.
I panicked and gave him a tbsp of MC since there was a can already open in the fridge from last night. Should he get HC as well? I will check again in 30 minutes.

He ate approx 2 hours after his AMPS (auto feeder), then again now. Honestly, I just woke up. I was so tire from staying up late with him that I went back to bed after checking him this morning.

His AMPS was at 7am, not 6:30am, so his last check was at +5, not +5.5 (oops). I've been slowly pushing his cycle later (by 15 mins) because we have an upcoming day trip planned to go visit family. I wanted that extra hour before having to come home to Dallas.

99 @ +5.5 I'm assuming it's ok for his next check to be at his PMPS? I have a few things to do that requires me to be out of the house.

133 @ +11 and 142 PMPS. Will keep checking him throughout the evening because of how low he dipped earlier today. Loving these numbers though!

He has an ear infection and has a vet appointment on Thursday to discuss treatment as some ear drops will affect his BG and the one without steroids will no clear his ear infections. The vet recently got a new ear drop that she heard about at a conference that has steroid, but it gets metabolized in the skin layers, so it doesn't tend to cause issues with glucose in diabetics. Here's hoping because he has chronic ear infections and the steroids is what ended up kicking him out of remission.
