Alright! Today's the first day of testing with the new human meter. It didn't come with any control solution and it said to use it before the first use so hopefully I didn't mess it up since I didn't have any. Do you think my numbers won't be accurate? I did order some from the website but it will be a bit before it comes.
 
I am also starting my new job today which will be between 2:30pm and 6pm, so I won't be able to do any of those BG checks during the week. It will mostly affect +8 through +10. I should still be able to check +11 if I get home in time. I'll have to make sure I get them in on the weekends though!
 
Blehh.. tonight's shot may have been fur. He meowed at me while giving this shot so I panicked thinking I wasn't getting it in right and was hurting him and could have pulled back in a split second. It took me ages to draw up the 2.25, I had to keep squirting some out and my syringes don't like teeny tiny movements so I'd end up squirting way more out down the drain. I wasted so much. So hopefully it was just left-over insulin that dripped down the syringe from squirting it out and not from me pulling it back.
