Sorry to be off the map yesterday! I haven't been feeling well... that TOM has just not gone well for me this month, and yesterday was spent mostly on the couch with a migraine and pain in my back. Willie had a good PMPS, but then headed upward from there. Even though we're not to 28 days yet, I'm suspicious of his pen and am picking a new one up today. He had a good day yesterday with time spent outdoors and playing with toys, and lots of keeping the bean company while I watched a marathon of season 2 of Fringe.

Did go out with Mr. DMV on Saturday and again had a lovely time. It is difficult as I think I've become very comfortable with my solitary life, so it is almost like I have to force myself to go out, even if it is with someone I clearly enjoy spending time with. I know I'm far too much of a hermit for my own good.

I hope everyone's week is off to a great start. Headache is still with me but I'm at tbp and hope I can get something accomplished today. Storms are rolling in... would have been a good day to spend in bed! I've decided I need to deal with the headache and back pain business so I have a call in to a pain specialist to see about getting an appointment.

Oh, come back down Willie. These are not your numbers at all! I hope the new pen does the trick.

I know on the going out, Last Thursday dinner out w/ John was the first time in ages. We looked at one another and said "Wow, this is nice!" But I think we have gotten into such a pattern and it's hard to break it. Needs to be done though. Michelle and Ella need to be our role models! :-D

I hope you are feeling better soon. The one advantage of getting old is no more that TOM. :roll:

Congratulations on dragging yourself (kicking & screaming) from your house and going out on a date. Glad you had a lovely time. We don't ever go out either, ever. We did this weekend and it was sooo nice and we vowed to do it more often, even though I know we won't. :lol: Hope you are feeling better Christie! TOM stinks big time.

Hi guys .. sorry to hear you had such a rough day yesterday .. but at least you had a nice day the day before! Sounds like you should make yourself go out more .. I know, its hard when we are so comfortable at home in our PJ's :lol: Glad to see willie was dropping at +2, hoping the trend continued today ...

Hope the new pen works out for Willie. Glad he had some nice outdoor time. Best of all he got to top it off with some good relaxing time keeping you company on the couch. cat_pet_icon

Sorry your not feeling well. Headaches run in my family, but I was lucky and never had to deal with them. Hope the pain specialist works out.

Nice on the date with the DMV guy! It's true I know I won't feel like going out but when I do I have a good time. It's just getting past that part. Man is it hard to do sometimes. Especially in the winter. :-|

Your cyclosporine is on it's way. :smile:

Hi Christie, I bet it's the pen with the numbers. Good for you for going out again with Mr. DMV. I know how you feel about getting set in a pattern and hard to break, but you're making a start. We look forward to hearing about more future dates. Has Willy met him? Sorry about your migraine and good you've made an appt. with a Specialist to get some help and diagnosis.
 
New pen tonight, and hoping I didn't give a fur shot. Willie has had tons of energy tonight and we had a lovely play session with his toys. He is in a bit of trouble though... I didn't get the chicken dust closed all the way this morning and somebody polished off the whole container (and made a huge mess on the floor!!) :shock: :evil: :shock:

Hopefully we'll see these numbers headed downward shortly!!

Found a top-knotch neurology clinic here that specializes in clinical trials for headache sufferers. Not looking to get into a trial, but am happy to be seeing a doctor who's up to date on all the most current research. I have an appointment Thursday afternoon.
 
LOL on the chicken dust - they do love that stuff, don't they????

Good luck with the new headache doc - I hope they can help you. I've had a few nasty headaches that were possibly small migraines - I can only imagine what a full-blown migraine feels like!

Good luck too with the new pen. I hope it gives the results you expect. he Willie - what is up with that +2? Too much chicken dust? Still a nice cycle for Willie.

Hey - YES (!!!) on the Fringe marathon - kudos! I absolutely love that show!

Great that you got out - truly! It was hard for me at first, as I am really not much of a social person, but wow: give me a trail that I can explore and I am so there. I think alot of the time it is a matter of finding something we really enjoy - then it is such a piece of cake to get out and do it, finding a way to make it all work. It took me along time to find mine.. now I couldn't dream of giving it up.
