Same AMPS two days in a row. Hopefully he shows some blues tonight. Happy furry purry and so sweet this morning, as always. Only 4 p's but am sure I will get #5 when I get home.
What a journey it has been with the little guy. Mason had begged for a kitty. We moved to Tulsa the week before first grade and we got Turnup on his first day as a surprise. He already knew what he would name her. "I will name my kitty Turnup. Then when you say 'Where's the kitty? Oh she will turn up.'" The humor of a 6 year old. Turnup ended up attaching to DH and didn't pay any attention to Mason.
Three years later we let Mason go with us to pick out a kitty that would (hopefully) be his. Mason had already decided he would name his new kitty Tarragon since he loved the spice in everything. They had found T's mother in an alley severely dehydrated. She had given birth to a litter of kitties in a puddle and all had died. The vet brought the mama in and rehydrated her. Much to everyone's surprise, two days later, she gave birth to a single kitty, Tarragon. The mama died shortly after and the vet and techs nursed Tarragon. When we got to the vet, there were a lot of kitties to chose from. Mason fell in love with Tarragon, who was the smallest, homeliest, obviously least healthy of all of them. Tarragon was only 5 weeks old. Tarragon was the perfect kitty for a little boy and they have an incredible bond. Mason will say that Tarragon is and has always been his best friend.
5 years old and Tarragon was diagnosed with asthma. After years of steroid shots and hard food, he was diagnosed with diabetes at 10 years old. IBD and HCM since then. Tarragon is healthier than he has ever been and I owe it all to all of you, my wonderful friends who I will never meet face to face but love with all my heart. What a crazy journey it has been with the sweetest soul I have ever known. Happy birthday lil T. We love you to the moon and back and are much better people because you adopted us.
