Sorry it has been so long again since my last post. Life's little stumbling blocks are just getting in the way!

I finally got Cleo's test results back from the aspiration of her spleen. The one good thing is that it does not indicate any cancer. What it is showing is chronic inflammation of the spleen. This could be from an enlarged reactive lymph node or normal spleenic tissue (whatever the heck that means). I am waiting to hear back from Cleo's vet who will give me more details. Meanwhile, Cleo is eating a little better so I think the pancreatitis flare-up must be better. She actually has gained a little weight!

Simon is doing ok but I had to increase his insulin. Yesterday, he was mostly blue and then gave me a nice green number. This morning, not so good, but I think he may have snuck some of Cleo's food. He knows the good fuds when he sees them!

Hooray for the no-cancer verdict, I'm so relieved to read that. I hope Cleo continues to improve - wonderful news about the Pancreatitis flare-up subsiding, too! :mrgreen:

Good luck with the dosecrease for Simon!

Hi Georgia, glad to hear the words "no cancer" for Cleo's test results, and hope you get more info on it. Good luck on the dosecrease for Simon. Maggie has more juice, too, so they can keep each other company. :-D Have a nice day.

Sunny start for Simon. Come on down big guy! Great great news on Cleo's test results. I hope she gets better and better. Nice on the weight gain! The pancreatitis must be about done. Have a wonderful day Georgia!

I hope Cleo feels better and the vet has some helpful recommendations.

Hi guys, what wonderful news about cleo! I hope your vet can give you some answers and advice about the spleen issue .. and it's nice to hear she's eating better and has gained some weight .. Now simon, you work that extra juice your momma gave you and stop worrying about cleo's fuds! Have a great day guys!

Thank you so much for your posts concerning Cleo. Wow -- the love from y'all is just incredible! I am home from work for a few minutes and checked on Cleo and Simon. Cleo had eaten all of her food! Yay!

Thanks Jane for posting Simon's last condo!

Simon is a little bit better than this morning but hopefully, we will see some better numbers by evening.
