Good Monday morning, Everyone,
Rusty is GREEN!! Finally made it back to a green AMPS after the consecutive fur shots of a few days ago. And, we've already had a play session (with the Cat Charmer). Good test, good shot (I hope!!!), breakfast in 2 sittings, a brief brushing, and a play.
The beans, however, are not going to play on the Upper Salmon River today. The weather is pretty awful (cold, dark, windy, showers), and only we and another couple were going to do the paddle. I was worried, because 4 people are not enough on a challenging trip and Edward might need more help getting over one infamous tree that blocks the river at one point (a deep-water exit onto the tree; climb across the tree; pull the canoe over the tree; a deep-water entry into the canoe on the other side). So instead we will go to the landfill  and Edward will have his chiropractor appointment today instead of tomorrow, because tomorrow we'll be going on an easier paddle on a local lake. Added bonus: I'll be around all day to keep track of Rusty's numbers.
We continue to send healing thoughts to Garland, Rocket, and all of the other kitties who are under the weather. Feel better!
