What an awesome day yesterday for Mannie: blue PS numbers, green cycle - it couldn't have been better. I had to laugh last night. With his pmps at an almost green number I remember thinking it was going to be a busy night. He never really did drop too much. With the 96 at +2 I was then thinking, ah Mannie... it would be so cool if you just stayed right where you are. I couldn't believe it when he did: very twilight zone, very wow, and so consistent. YAY!! Well done Mannie, way to go, and your bean lubs ya! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We had the kitty choir this morning - thank goodness! Only two members today though: BJ and Elsa, who were singing their hearts out. I was up on time, they thought I was late. Mannie could have cared less :shock: - he was busy warming his nanners with some major I-) I-) , and probably hoping that today would be a poke-free day. Uhhhh... sorry Mannie, there's gotta be some pokes. We had a good test feed shoot, even a little bit of a fuds dance while I got his breffis ready. Clean plat club status intact, not a morsel left. The boy is now back on the nanner pile. We have a change of weather today - rains in the forecast for the next couple of days. Mannie seems to know it, he's in his "nasty weather let's nap the day away " mode. Go kitty - you've got the right idea.

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what today will bring here. I had thought of heading east for a short hike by Stevens Pass, if the weather holds off long enough there. If not... there's always chores.... ugh. Guess we shall see. :-D

My friends! I need sun! Maybe some serious hang gliding today or sumthin'! it's going to rain here today - blech! Who's got sun? Hmmmmm... Maybe we could just hang out someheere by a pool or sumthin' - we gots some OTJ parties to plan. You guys in? ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, awesome day yesterday for Mannie with nice blues and greens. It looks like another nice day, so the dose is holding, anti-jynx! Oh you're up to two with the kitty choir, even on a Monday. I'm glad Mannie reclaimed his nanners. Do you have DGS today? I hope the weather holds off enough for you to get a short hike in today. We have cloudy weather and rather cool for us for this time of year, but still very nice for a walk.

Hey Mannie, I think some sun and a pool would be nice, maybe Gracie's or Zoe's pool or wonder who else has a pool. I could bring some salmon burgers for grillin. I think we need KTSS for Tobey, too, and some others not feeling well. I'll see ya soon.

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - looks like maybe this dose is holding. I wasn't so sure a few days ago. He has had a good couple though. no DGS today, just W-FR. The other grammie has him M and Tu. Looks like maybe just a shore walk today, Mannie been heading down, just not too sure I want to be gone for 6 hours... the shore only take and hour plus, so good to go there. yep - cloudy here too - the rains are moving in - rather heavily... so I hope Mannie surfs soon so I can get out before the rains start here. Paws crossed!

Hi Sherry - I so agree on the shores... hiking or shore walking beats that out hands down. YAY! and thx - yesterday was such a nice day for Mannie. YAY!!

Wow! Mannie did a great job yesterday! What a nice surf for the big guy.

Glad Elsa has finally decided to help BJ out after she carried everybody last week! :lol: Now Mannie, you should leave those nanners long enough to help out as well since you do get to eat the fuds as well. Mannie definitely has the right idea on a rainy day.

Hi Melissa - that he did! And he seems to be repeating today. YAY!!!! yep on the kitty choir - finally almost a whole unit again. :lol: :lol: I know on the rainy day thing - he's napped all morning, and has just now decided to venture on out. So there he is in all that wind getting sniffs. It's kinda funny - the wind is blowing all that fur every which way. :lol: At this moment he cojuld care less - he's making his rounds, securing the perimeter. what a guy... :cool:

Just curious, DGS gets the Nanner King and terrific hikes on Wednesday through Friday, how does he get spoiled by grammie on the other two days? It's nice to have shared help.

Hi Devon - I know, sometimes I wonder if this is the same cat from earlier this year.... :lol: and thanks. I think he did: enjoy the time outside. It starts to rain again after he was out, so back up on the deck he comes, only to sit under a table so he could be dry, but still stay out.

Hi John - I am really liking this cycle - and all on his own, no fuds since +5. I can hardly wait to see what pmps is. :-D funny you should ask on the other grammie.... we are so different. and I'm not really sure what he does when he is there. :shock: :lol: :lol: My daughter days what she felt would happen has: I am the outdoor let's go hike and explore and see the beach grammie, the other is the social let's see friends grammie.... she's a nice lady and all, but you'll never find her on a trail. She loves to buy him new toys, books... :lol: :lol: And YES! It is nice to have shared help - he gets all kinds of exposure this way, and I get a break. he is a ton of fun, but I am also glad that it is only three days a week. :-D

Hi Michelle, Sorry that you had bad weather today. We started out awful, but it improved dramatically. Tomorrow should be nice for the next paddle. (The paddle today wound up being cancelled because no one wanted to do a difficult paddle with lots of obstacles in bad weather; I guess we could have gone). After our trip to the landfill I mowed the "lawn".
Have a fine evening. Mannie is doing wonderfully.

Hi Ella - Weather here today cannot make up it's mind :lol: :lol: - strong wind, some sun, rains, cooler... I did go to the shore anyways - the sun was out there, for a short time. I walked home in the rain... :lol: :lol: I had wondered on your paddle - maybe it was good that it was canceled? At least tomorrow you will have a really good one. Fun with the "lawn" - I may have to refer to mine as the "lawn " too. Sure is not alot of grass in the "lawn" :roll: -- and thanks - Mannie is doing great today.

wowser!!! what a perfect couple of days for mannie!

i thought of him yesterday when punkin had perfectly centered his, uh, "expansive self" (i wouldn't want to hurt his feelings by commenting on his girth!) over his 4 nanners and 2 catnip sausages. i made the DH come and look. you could barely see one nanner tip sticking out from one side. everything else was under the orange fluff!

wonder if they'd like each other if they met!? would a mutual love of nanner-ness be enough for a friendship? :lol:

Hi Julie - they have been good - i can hardly believe it, and wonder when will the other shoe drop. :lol: :lol: it would be so nice to see these type of days all the time. I am grateful for the ones I get. Oh i love Punkins nanner story - it is so funny when they do that. mannie is a big guy too, and when he lays on top of them like that well... you can hardly see them. darn funny!
