Good morning!!! This Monday finds us wishing healing vines to: Garland, Rocket, Tiberious, Tipper, MIke's Buddy, Lanky, and any others who need them.

I awoke this morning with stereo purring: Gracie and Tobey. Lots of scritches, head butts, tummy zerbicks....what a way to wake up!!! I got up and took care of everyone before Gracie's test/feed/shoot and when I got back to her, she was still in bed stretched out, purring. I said "Rise and Shine Principessa"...massive purrs and her little Gracie smile. Such a joy. She took the express train down last night and it took some work for me to get her to a screeching halt. Unfortunately, that bumped her back up. To tell you the truth, I breathed a sigh of relieve when I saw this yellow number as the drop, the low number, and the carbs were the perfect storm for an AMPS the color not to be mentioned :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Tobey update: better today. He slept most of yesterday although spent the evening on the catio with Gracie and was chasing little flying bugs. This morning he was his normal happy Tobey self and has been running around with tail in the air. Eye is still squinty; I gave him more bupe and all the meds. He has a eye vetty appt at 2:30. Although he is responding, I want to be sure this is, in fact, a herpes flare up and not a scratch and that the ulcer is not too big or deep.

Off to TBP for me....LAST MONDAY TO WORK YIPPPPEEE!!!!!! I'm working in the office instead of at home. Mike just got home

Really really sorry to see you had your own troubles last night. Glad all seems well this morning! Nothing better than waking up to a happy purring crew :-D

I wonder why id up w/ all the bouncing diving lately, i though the girls had gotten over that. :YMSIGH:

Happy last full week at work! I'll catch up tonight, if I don't just collapse when I get home. :roll:

Hi Marje, yay for last Monday to work! Oh Gracie, what's up with the +2 and +4. If it were Mags, it would be a food spike, but I dunno about Gracie! Glad to hear Tobes is feeling better and back to playing with Gracie. I hope it is just a flare-up and not a scratch. Good luck with the appt. and let us know how little Tobey makes out with the Vet. Have a nice day on your last Monday.

YIPPIE!!! Your last Monday - are you excited??? I remember when I retired... it really didn't seem real the whole time I was prepping those who took over. Until that last half hour on that Friday and I had to turn in all my pass cards etc.... one could not wipe that smile off my face. I hope you enjoy your last week. And I hope too all is where you want it to be when you leave. YAY! Almost done!!!! Just think how weird it will be when you don't have to head on into the office next week... SWEET! .

Hi Guys,
I hope that Gracie comes down a bit tonight and that Tobey's eye is OK. Rusty will be arriving soon with the KTSS to check out that eye. (And Auntie Ellabean is sending along a special treat).

Last Monday at work! That is something!! When you retire you won't believe all the free time you had while you were working!!! Enjoy this week, Marje.

Hi Marje, just checking to see what the eye vet said about Tobey's eye. Sending healing vines and crossed paws for something simple and quickly healed.

What a lovely way to be awakened in the morning...stereo purring. *sigh*
I get jumped on by cats chasing each other down the hallway, and I am a landing pad.

Good evening all. Sorry to be posting so late. Got home late from work, we ate, did Gracie, got our walk in but it was so durn hot that when we got back we just jumped in the pool to cool off and now it's already 9:30. Almost bed time.
Thank you all for visiting Gracie today during her bounce. She's on the other end of the teeter totter from Tess and Mannie!!

Tobey did well at the eye vetty today. Yes...it looks like a herpes outbreak again but the ulcer this time is very small....probably because I got right on it and started putting all those meds in. He's romping around here tonight like a wild man and barely squinting his eye so I think he's feeling better. No bupe for him tonight!!

I think we are about to call it a night. Mike is exhausted...only four hours of sleep in the pilots' lounge last night and I had a few middle of the night tests on Gracie last night so I could use some sleep as well.

Hope you all have a great night. Congrats to Mocha, Devon, and Peter for 5 mos OTJ!!!
