8/22 calliecat uggg so confused !

Happy Monday everyone !

I hate Mondays !! well here is the deal I'm more confused than ever, callie's numbers SUCK I upped her dose to 1.5 last night she has been in the 300's all day so far.

she seems to me that she does better on less insulin?? last week we were getting a blue number almost every cycle, I know this morning was not a fur shot and she ate at 7:45 this morning 1/2 ff and I checked her at + 5 ( 1:30 pm) and her + 5 was 331 then she had a 1/2 ff for the life of me I can't figure this out :? should I go back to 1.3 ?? please give me your imput :YMHUG:

In looking at your spreadsheet it looks like even on the lower doses you sometimes had days in between blue numbers and often had flat cycles in the 300s. At 1u you only had two blues, and they were both right there in the beginning. (sometimes kitties will react well to a dose change in the very beginning and then level out. This is called New Dose Wonkiness. Not all cats do this though) You held that dose for a long time, so I think it is safe to say that 1u wasn't enough. I personally recommend holding the 1.5u for 5 days to see if she will settle into this dose. I know you don't like a flat cycle in the 300s, but it looks to me like a similar pattern to what she has been doing up until this point.
