Guess this weekend I need to start setting my alarm to see what she's doing overnight. Because this morning sure looks like a bounce. Although yesterday she did drop fast and had an incredible green surf.

This is a strange trend to be setting here Autumn. High in the morning and then "grass surfing" (I think you called it) in the afternoon. Hmmmmm.....

Yeah 2+2 just isn't equally 4 right now. Either I'm missing overnight lows, or the meter is wacked. Because I'm seeing weird spikes, and numbers not supported by behavior. I'll be glad to go back to a meter I trust this weekend.

Okay its the flipping meter just tested myself twice. First test 95, but the second one logged me in at 196...so not correct!! Especially since I haven't eaten since 5p.m. last night.

Scary with the meter, especially with her history of low numbers. I have bayer contour, so happy with it,but the sprips in denmark are so expensive that i buy them on ebay innew york. 50 contour strips in Denmark costs 80 dollars. In the us around 16. Such acrazy price difference.

I have a Bayer Contour as well but never thought about Ebay for strips, locally they are stupidly expensive. About $60 for 50 which is why I stopped using it. Love my Relion Micro and have done side by side tests with Contour and they've always been within about 5 points of each other. Then when I had my foster Cali I got the Relion Prime with the intention of giving it to her owner when she went home. As he was on a fixed income and its super cheap. Well since she has joined Musette and Onyx in an urn on my (GA) shelf I've been using up the strips. Just not happy with the results.

Autumn - what? No drama today? Yesterday's was enough to last a few days wasn't it?

I had that same UGLY experience with the Prime the one 'round' I used it - I don't ever encourage ANYONE to buy that meter, I don't care that the strips are so inexpensive. If it doesn't give reliable results, even $2 for a box is too much! I have gotten wierd results every once in a blue moon with our Confirm/Micro's but I can live with those, nothing's always perfect.

I hear ya, plus the number of strips I waste there is no savings. Poor Autumn got stabbed 6 times last night to get 1 flipping test and Lord knows I can test anything that meows including ferals. So its not operator error.

The other thing I find disturbing is the strips look different from vial to vial sometimes the have a hole where the insert into the meter and sometimes they don't. So not good when you have CDO (OCD to the rest of the world..but the letters are in the wrong order for me...lol).

Maybe it will make a lovely paper weight. Because its far to unstable when my babies' lives are on the line.

How annoying to know that the monitor isn't reliable! No wonder her pattern isn't much of a pattern at all. Hopefully you can get that stupid thing out of the mix so you can see what's really going on. Especially since it seems as though she might actually be making some good strides!

so she probably isn't really even wearing the tutu. that's terrible if u can't rely on the meter.
