8/21 Zener AMPS 405;+4 334;PMPS 304;+2.5 314 BD week

Yesterday

Zener is doing ok this morning. Appy is pretty good. I decided to start cutting back on the prenidsolone after 3 days, because he was rather frantic for food yesterday. So he's getting 2.5 mg in the evening. He is really enjoying the birthday wishes and the cakes and cookies. Poo in the LB last night, looking better than recent ones but not ideal, so miralax is continuing.

From yesterday's condo:
We are celebrating Zener's birthday this week! We don't know exactly what day he was born, as he was a rescue. We brought him home at the end of September and he still had blue eyes. We have always said that his birthday is Aug 26 since I was born on June 26 and Tillie was born on April 26. So just to cover all of our bases, we are celebrating all week! The culmination will be when Anne gets home on the 26th.

So Anne will be home in 5 darks, 4 paddy paws and a nose. Kitties are thinking that is getting closer. :lol:

A pretty good appy is purrfectly acceptable, and less concerning than a frantic one. I'm glad Zener is doing ok, and it looks like he's sliding down some, too.

I'm glad Zener's appy is pretty good. I hope you can find a good balance on the pred to keep him eating, but not be frantic about food.

Almost yellow - you can do it Zener! Great to hear about the better (but not frantic) appy. So much easier to give insulin when that's not a worry.

Neko really likes the idea of a cake every night for a week!
