Morning all...happy Saturday to everyone!! Shadow brought himself down for that pink at +4 last night...was pleased to see the nice blue and then the yellow this morning. I had to sprinkle more chicken dust on his food this morning. Doesn't seem to have a great appetite over the past 24 hours. P for Playing was present since he seems to be interested in his catnip mice again. As he groom himself, I am thinking seriously about going btb.

Maybe Shadow didn't get enough kitty dust on the offerings. :lol: Maybe Ronnie's right it isn't fresh enough. Mannie does that sometimes - with the nose in the air and the "what is this stuff?" look. Come on Shadow - finish your food like a good boy.

Good luck with the BTB - I hope your do better with that than me. :lol: :lol: Never fails - on the days when I could use a nap Mannie throws me "that curve ball", and I'm up even longer. :lol: :lol:

Not a bad cycle....it would be good if he could keep things steady on this dose for a few days (yellow, blue, green) with no big bouncing and then start earning some decreases and get back on the program. I think the wackyness before the dental and spending some time in higher numbers threw his weak pancreas into strike mode and his angry liver doesn't help. He needs some gentle time in the healing zone before he can start making forward progress.

As for the chicken dust...you started it! It's like spoiling a child. The other day they had "pet stuff" as the weekly promotion at the discounter grocery store (Aldi) and I bought a bag of 100% meat dried chicken strips (they are for dogs) I think it's the same as the "chicken dust". I havent opened it yet, I sure hope they don't get to crazy about it because it was a one time offer. They offer stuff like that just a few times a year (every week a new special theme) this week is back-to-school supplies :roll:

Thanks for the well wishes, mom will be fine. At least they found the problem and after the diagnostics and a tune-up she should pass inspection ohmygod_smile

Monique...they might not like it....but if they DO...you are in deep you-know-what!!!
My two are partial to Pure Bites and I order them online. One week, the order didn't magically appear as soon as I would have wanted it to...and boy...they would look at their bare food and get this sad look on their faces...deep sighs...and then they would slowly turn away for the food! Both of them in unison!! UGH!!
I ran out and bought the halo Liv-a-littles and they managed to eat that, but my goodness, they were so expensive and they are not the 'same". I rue the day I ever started with that chicken stuff!!! .
Maybe a treat would be okay but don't sprinkle it on their food if you have no intention of buying another bag!!!! :o

My two come for the ear pricks without any treats needed at all. I find that amazing. But, I know they loved their Temptations years ago and I wanted to find a good acceptable treat for them....and yes, it is my own fault!!! :lol:
but just beware that when a kitty likes them, they LOVE them....I sometimes wish mine didn't really care for them so much... :YMSIGH:

There seem to be lots of kitty crack addicts around. It's a good thing we keep them supplied, otherwise they'd be out breaking and entering to feed their habit. :lol:

Whew...all the excitement with the new little girl Shadow on the forum...I looked at the clock..yipes...his +4 test! He is making his Mama proud today folks. He ate very well just now...but it would be nice if he surfed the blues... Auntie Monique asked that you relax for a little while in yellows. blues and greens..she means HIGH greens Shadow, just for the record. Have to be very clear with him...keep it steady boy!

Ok...who was it that ordered the greens? Monique and Iorwen?? :-D Okay, here it is:

He is eating some more now...gray day, looks like German rain coming....he might be hearing thunder in the distance, but I certainly cannot...he was in the box in his closet. He will most likely go right back in there where he feels safe.

Break out the chicken dust......isn't it snack time? I want him to surf. Your welcome, you can keep the rain. We actually have a nice sunny day, but on the mountains are some evil looking thunderstorm clouds building. Spooky is happy he got to go out today on the leash for a while. Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer but by Monday evening it's all over :twisted:

I have the green ring in there (there is a hole in the middle) it makes the seat wider so they can can get thier but down further and don't get bum splashed! Spooky is shy so every time I come with camera he runs away but I was making some rainbow pictures and I caught him. :shock:

You're lucky you got them hooked on Pure Bites. Mine are hooked on Whole Life brand freeze dried chicken. Expensive!!! If I run out and bring hom Pure Bites instead, I get that look (actually I get that look times 3. Lucy, Sammy, AND Jazzy can tell the difference between brands).

I started mine out on Prime Bites and then tried Pure Bites. The Pure Bites are harder to find and my source doesn't always have them in stock. They do not want Prime Bites from petsmart any more. They go 'EEeuuuuuuuwwww" and turn away.
I am not even going to look up the brand you mentioned Libby....normally I am so curious to read about something I haven't seen before. BUT, in THIS case, I am turning away and not even the slightest bit interested in knowing the name of those again...can't even remember unless I scroll back...and I dare not do that!~ I am in waaaay too deep as it is....so thank you but, nevermind.... :lol:

Raja is happy that her brother at least remembers how to get to green. She is quite pleased with his past two days but especially today. Two greens for him...he is getting ready for the Full Green Corn Moon Party on Tuesday....Raja is proud of both Mannie and Shadow today! Both of them can't wait to meet the new little girl in town...Shadow is her name too! Hope you all have a great night!

I have an addict also. It's the Fortiflora. Most of the time, Checkers is bored stiff by meals, without it.
He's getting tired of the chicken. The uhhhhhhh, $23 a bag, chicken. :roll:

Hi Pat, Guess what? Stu doesn't care for any of the freeze-dried chicken! He liked Grandma Lucy's for a while, but doesn't eat that anymore either. Liv a littles: boring. Prime Bites: no thank you (I still have a huge unopened bag!). But he does like the canned chicken chunks in water (from the health food store, so nice and expensive). He gets 1 or 2 every day as a treat. I put extra water in them.
Shadow is doing fine. Stu really enjoyed Raja & Shadow's visit.
p.s. to Monique: wonderful picture of Spooky!! And guess what, our "Paula" is pushing up the earth like there's no tomorrow.
