Amps 348 Contour 🤦‍♀️

Go away stinky pinky!! 🤬
She saw a 97 yesterday at +4 in the am cycle.
Probably a big one bounce going on 🏀
Argh.

Really hope she will lose such high bounces. If not, she will need an increase. Just trying to find the best time when I’m home to monitor closely!

Poops 💩 have been good (knock wood, anti jinx) 🙏
Appetite is good (using Mirataz) full dose still with Cerenia daily.
My one vet who helps with supplements suggested I keep those meds in place for now.
It’s been a full month since her whole “pancreatic” episode began (no evidence of pancreatitis on her labs).

We’ve done an Animal Biome gut test and a test with Innovative Pet as well to look at her gut dysfunction.
Trying to improve all of that with her IBD is very complicated.

Thank you to everyone who conveyed wishes of support and love for our friend Heike on her loss of her beloved Binie yesterday 😭
I will share your sweet words of support to her.
It’s such a sudden and unexpected tragic loss 💔😭🙏

Wishing everyone a gentle cycle with good health 🌊💞🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️🐈🐈‍⬛

So glad Ivy is feeling better. That was a great moment with Wendy and then the test results, such a relief :bighug: She's looking great! How's she doing with the manual tests? Do you think you'll go back to the Libre or has it been nice at all having less to interpret?

Thank you Tim 🥰
It’s such a relief. What a bad month. A very long time to feel badly for her 😭

She absolutely hates the preshot tests. The other ones aren’t so bad because she’s usually in a good position where she’s in a bed and she’s resting so those aren’t so bad.
But the pre-shot test as I’m preparing her meal and getting all that together… she’s walking around pacing waiting for her meal and doesn’t want to be fussed with (and certainly doesn’t want to be poked).
I haven’t yet figured out a way to make this less stressful for her 😭

I hope Pookey is doing well and you both have a relaxing weekend. Thanks so much for checking on us. 💖

Staci, I'm glad to see she's breaking that bounce already. Ivy, let's slide down gently!
This really has been such an ordeal with the p-itis!! I hope that the gut tests give you some good answers.

I hope Ivy comes back down soon. Glad her poop and appy are good.
Me too, thanks Carla. She’s been a bit higher lately. I think we are giving an increase tonight.
I am hoping she levels out a bit lower.

I just activated a new Libre and hope we can use that. She’s just so stressed from all of the pokes.
Hope you have a relaxing weekend 💖🥰💞

She went back up again today Mary. We are back on the Libre this afternoon. Paws crossed 🤞 🐾

I actually don’t think she had pancreatitis this time. Her blood tests for that were negative.
It seems it’s more of an IBD issue (from what the ultrasound showed.

But it sure looked like p-titis to me.
I just hope she’s recovered and can feel better.

I hope you and your sweet gang all have a relaxing weekend 🐈🐈‍⬛😻💖

I guess that beautiful green yesterday has her on the run!
It's good that you can differentiate between the IBD and P-itis. With multiple illnesses, things can be so complicated. :bighug:

I'm so sorry to hear about Binie 😔 🫂 Sending thoughts and condolences to Heike 🖤

More positive poop news! Ivy is holding strong (anti-jinx) and love knowing that her tummy is feeling good still.

Safe surfing 🤗

I actually can’t tell the difference between the two diseases. That’s the problem, we treated it as though it was pancreatitis, but the lab work confirmed it was not pancreatitis.
So it’s hard to know exactly how to treat when she has those symptoms since they look like P-Titus 😭

Thank you Briana. I will let Heike know. It’s so very sad.

Many anti jinxes on the poop 💩 situation. Really hoping the B12 is holding her in place 🤞🙏😬

I hope Binx is also holding tight and doing well! I saw your post just now and am thrilled to hear he’s doing so well 🙏🤞💖
