I am late in posting, have a raging cold and am late with everything. Gave Harley his shot 45 minutes late. Did not wake up until he was poking me for food.

+4 264
+5.5 259 – gave 1 Tb FF (4% carb), 1 oz cooked chicken

I will try for more tests.

Nice yellow now Harley...help your Mama today now...she doesn't feel too well.

He is going in the right direction - now the key is keeping it that way...sometimes he just does not cooperate.

This is where it gets dicey for Harley. Many have said that his body responds to this low (not really) bg with a rebound. I fed him 1 tbsp FF (4% carb) mixed in 1 oz cooked chicken to see if I can level him out.

looking good! Lots of cats bounce off of blue when they first start getting it. He should quit doing that at some point.

What dose did you shoot today? I was going to suggest an increase to 6.75. It looks like you shot 6.75 yesterday morning, then went back to 6.5. He has room for the increase whenever you're ready. If you're not feeling well today, though, then I would wait. You don't want to have to be up monitoring if you're sick.
 
It happened again. Harley is so unpredictable. He went low and now climbing to the sky. I updated his ss with the many tests I did. So, I need guidance. Should I be feeding him at the +4 and +8 to keep his bg level (like a human). Right now, I feed only if he is going way down.

I think the 6.5 was a mistake in my entering. I have been at 6.75 for 3 cycles

I try and keep the FF at below 5%. Should the “snacks” be 1% like the EVO foods? I really want his bg to be more consistent. Let me know if I am on the right track.

Am I feeding him wrong? I am trying to cut down on food at meals but the crying is hard to resist. Tonight he got a little ocean fish (0 carbs on chart) and classic turkey (green label). It may have been a little less that a can. Right now, he is getting about 0.5 (or less) or raw cooked chicken

Is this bad????

My suggestion if you can do this, can you note in SS when he gets food?

you can actually squeeze in "sn" (for snack) and "meal" for breakfast/din into the cells too.
it does take a bit of experimenting, but tracking those feed times alongside the BG numbers could help.

I'm hoping others can weigh in on this for you too, so let's see what goes on.
