Good Morning LL

What a nice change to see blue amps. He's eating his breffis in courses, taking time between, to 'let' Clancy chase him down the hallway, hissing the whole way. Clancy's got so much long thick hair, that Check's sharp, threatening fangs mean nothing to him. :lol:
Checkers then lays across the hallway, on his back and grabs a leg, as Clancy walks/runs by... then they're off again. :lol:
I'm always afraid Clancy is gonna throw himself on top of skinny Checkers' and hurt him.
I love these happy, play filled mornings. :-D

What a nice surprise to see Checkers wearing his blue number! Glad to hear him and Clancy are having a ball this morning. Sounds pretty fun at your house!

Oh man, just kick me now, so I won't have to do it later. I set my breakfast plate on the counter, and actually thought about it; told myself, that Checkers wouldn't care about an egg, potato, and turkey bacon. ARRRGH!!
I walked back in the room, in time to see him pulling a slice of bacon off the plate.. the half-eaten slice gone. ohmygod_smile

Fearing sugar in the bacon, I looked at the package. YUP! It claims, no carbs, and no significant source of sugar. But that is for a big human, not a little cat.
It contains sugar and dextrose, and a whole lot of junk. :YMSIGH:
That happened at a gorgeous +3 of 136. Another sigh!

silly Checkers! I wouldn't feel too bad about it, I wouldn't think it would make him rocket up too much and who can resist bacon!!!!! (I don't get it very often anymore since Stu turned completely vegetarian so I understand where Checkers is coming from!!)

Okay now I have to go look at my bacon package.

Looks like Checkers is starting out very nicely today.
And who wouldn't swipe the bacon.

Shadow and I shared a BLT on sunday. She loves a few bacon crumbs.
Guess I'll go dig out the package and see what I did.
Will I have to give those up?

What a lovely start for Checks...nice numbers, some play time, a little bacon treat! He'll be fine, Barb. Hey, at least he's feeling good and feisty enough to steal that bacon to begin with!!!

little footnote says cured with sugar, salt. and that dreaded word, nitrate.
not a significant amount.
of course, they don't define significant.

It's the precooked hormel I get at sam's club. 0 carbs.

Guess if we eat it again, I'll footnote it to see if it affects Shadow.
If it affected her, then it was for the full cycle the day after we ate it.
I've been trying to figure out why we went up yesterday but too many variables possible. ( furshot 5 days before)

Guess I'll watch your numbers and see if you go up tomorrow.
If so, at least I'll be blaming bacon.....

Hi guys .. I love hearing about your boys playing together .. I wouldn't stress about the turkey bacon just yet .. since checkers was on the lower end to start with, fingers crossed it won't bounce him to high .. and checkers, no more bacon for you mister! have a great day guys!

Well, I guess that little bit of yum yums, didn't hurt too much. He's still blue after 2 hours. Whew! :-D

Checks is having fun playing and he's having fun stealing a treat! Go Checkers!!! So, Barb, you can cut him some slack today! :smile:

Checkers, you naughty boy! You are making mama laugh and cry at the same time. Nice set of numbers this morning and a very funny story about the bacon. It's great he is feeling good enough to run and play and steal bacon.

Okay, so he would be rising at this time anyway, but this is more than he normally jumps in two hours.

Sorry Checkers has gone up so much from the bacon, but at least you know what caused it. It's great he was feeling well enough to romp this morning and steal the bacon.
