Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't been posting, but I've been exhausted from my trip (got NO sleep) and trying to catch up. I will be updating Bob's ss and visiting condo's probably towards the end of the week/weekend. Just quickly stopping by because I didn't want anyone to think the plane went down!

He did good while I was gone. We have discovered he likes wellness turkey (for now!). I hate to even say it because I don't know how long it will last. He stopped eating the YA. I'm still worried he's not eating enough and I never see him drinking. I think I will buy a scale so I can keep track of his weight. He's been staying in the low 100's (with no bouncing), but I'm worried it's because he's not eating enough. So, we will see how the next few days go...

I hope you are all doing well!

Morning!
Nice start to the day for Bob!!!
Does it seem like Bob is losing weight? I've got my fingers crossed he's just eating less because his little body is processing the food better and he isn't as hungry as when he had high BGs. As we transitioned our bunch away from dry, we saw lots less drinking from the water fountains. Now, i feel like i keep them out just to give me something extra to clean.
Congratulations on the transition Wellness Turkey!!!!!!!!..(anti-jinx)

Hugs to all those adorable kitties.. Are those new pictures of Hector? I love him sitting on the bed! What a doll.

Good Morning Dara,
Glad you made it back and Bob did good.
When I got all mine onto the wet they totally quit drinking water. I was very surprised. Hoot will drink a little still every once in awhile, but not very often. I wouldn't worry about that too much. Lets keep our paws crossed that he will continue to like the you know what ;-)
Have a great week!!

:-D :-D :-D :-D Nice to see that blue AMPS! Tess doesn't drink much either and I never see Emma drinking water (only spilling it so I can't measure.) Between the wet food and the extra water added to it many cats drink very little.

I'm glad you are safely back and recovering from the trip.

Dara,
Unless you start to notice signs of dehydration, don't be too concerned with him not drinking water. My Bob rarely, if ever does. If your Bob has stopped eating the YA, and is only eating canned, that is probably why he isn't thirsty.

Beautiful numbers, Bob!!!! Keep it up!!!

So glad he's eating something for you. I know how frustrating that can be.

Can't wait to see how he does the rest of the week.

Thanks everyone!! I am putting extra water in his food and the vet tech gave him subq fluids every other day so his skin is a little less loose. Unfortunately, it does look like he's losing weight. Right now, he actually looks like he's supposed to according the vet charts (he used to be about 16 pounds). If he loses more, I think he'll be too skinny. Bob weighs 14 pounds and is eating maybe 1/2 can of food in the morning and 1/2 can of food in the evening. So I"m thinking he's getting about 200 calories a day and should be getting 280. How about your kitties? Any comparable to Bob's size and how much do they eat?
