I am so proud of my big bubby boy! Even though it still takes both of us, and he still fusses, and hissed at us tonight  he is getting better with testing. The right size lancets and the right spots to test really do make a huge difference.

Still trying to throw this sinus infection off. :-|

Vet wasn't in today, so I did not get to ask about scheduling Spooky's dental. I'm hoping she'll want to schedule it soon, especially since his numbers are looking good.

He is fast asleep beside me.

@ Rhiannon- We did hunt him down tonight and made sure he got a treat. He was nonchalant about it; like he could take it or leave it. Of course- he then decided to take it.

@ Liz- If you were wondering about the koala, it is a great love of mine. I have been in love with those adorable marsupials since I was 8. The very first report I did at school was about koalas. You name it- I probably have it in koala.

One of my dreams is to visit Australia, go to a koala sanctuary, and hold one.

That is getting low to shoot without doing a mid cycle test. I hope that can happen soon. You want to keep your guy safe. Paws crossed. And no anxiety attacks today? That is great! Great job, Spooky. Your beans just want you to be healthy and are doing everything they can to help you. And yum on that treat! He acts casual because it's new but he'll learn to like them.

I hope you make it to Australia. Although I don't think koalas are as cuddly as they look like they should be. That reminds me of going to New Zealand and expecting to see a kiwi bird. Nope, not in the wild. They are nocturnal and shy. We did see a couple in a bird zoo that were in a special house with some very dim lighting and we could sort of see them rooting around. Oh well. I hope you have better luck with the koalas.
Liz

Foo. I'm glad his numbers are going down, but I'm not sure he'll let us test him yet without both of us here. He's just starting to calm down some after the not so great test times the last couple of weeks.

No anxiety attacks today! :-D

He and the rest of the Cat Crew just had a little snack. I usually leave a little something out for them when I go to work/overnight. There's almost always food left. I think I may have underestimated this evening though. I mixed re-hydrated Stella & Chewy's with a 5.5 oz can of EVO 95%. All 3 of them ate it all like there was no tomorrow. 4 hours later, they were all like "Mommy, where's the food?". I took a can of FF and divided it. They all had a few bites and were happy.

I didn't know kiwi birds were nocturnal! Sorry you didn't get to see them in the wild. But you did get to kind of sort of see them. :-D

Little by little the testing improves. It can be quite a huge feat.
You are getting there.

We have koalas in the Albuquerque zoo.
So i've gotten to watch them sleep........zzzzzzzzzz......

When I was 20, I went to London and I just knew they had koalas. I didn't look on the directory for them. I wanted to just happen
upon them. I couldn't wait.
I walked that entire zoo before I went and asked.
They didn't.
I was so disappointed.
I don't know what made me think they did.

So it was pretty neat when ABQ got a pair.
However, no platypus. That's my DH's favorite. He sure would like to see one.
