Apparently it was the wrong choice to preemptively give Ember higher carb food for dinner last night since she rose up into the pinks and stayed there. I’m so annoyed with myself! Just when I think I’ve solved a problem, her BG makes a fool of me again! At least Ember was happy with my decision— she got yummy gravy food for dinner.

Aww I’m sorry Elaine, it’s a terrible feeling when we feel like we made the wrong call, but you didn’t do anything that’s going to hurt her, she will come down again and like you said, all she knows is that her mama gave her an extra tasty dinner. It may have happened regardless as a bounce from that +9 yesterday, so try not to be hard on yourself. Come down gently Ember.
