Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I'm still taking care of my sick dgs and caring for a sick pre-schooler has me worn out. When he leaves for home at the end of the day, I'm ready to drop. As soon as I sit down and get comfortable, I fall asleep. I must be getting old.
As you can see, Racci is still staying high on the new dose after 10 cycles. She has seen a couple of greens on it but they were in the beginning when she still had some leftovers and when she had an off day on eating. Today I moved her dose up a hair closer to the regular 3U mark. I think she just is going to have to stay on 3U if I want to keep her in normal numbers. I'll just have to be careful to feed often so she doesn't go too low. She's proven that she doesn't have a problem with being low but I worry.
At any rate, Racci is feeling well, very hungry today and in fact shocked me and ate turkey! Yay!!! I've been struggling to get her to eat something other than salmon for months! Finally today she decided the BG turkey was alright! It's the same 2% carbs which is great. I'm not sure of the calories but I imagine turkey is leaner than salmon. Will have to look it up. She's been in a good mood in spite of sharing the attention and the small noisy bein in her house taking her toys and running around trying to play but being too rough.
I'm going to give her another test now. BRB.
Hugs,
Melanie & Racci
