heehee - anya just came in with her latest kill. you know how wild and crazy that little girl is. well here it is:

yes, it's Barney. anya has killed barney. mind you, my "baby" is 19 years old but she still loves her barney. she knitted him a sweater even - and somehow anya got him and dragged him out to the living room.

btw...my 20-year-old daughter still has her Barney, BJ, and Baby Bop!!! Though she has never made any of them clothing! :lol:
 
LOL! Me too! I was expecting a mouse or a bird. But you know, sometimes I want to kill Barney too! Anya rocks!!!
 
the barney song used to make me want to SHRIEK! I love you, you love me, we're a happy family . . . or is it great big family? hahahaha - both punkin and anya are inside kitters now. anya's never been outside, poor girl. so thankfully all of her kills are some bit of crazy clutter from around the house.
 
As strong as my aversion to Barney is.... I'd take Willie bringing me Barney over Willie bringing me a cicada any day!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

:lol: :lol: ohmygosh you're killing me. anya is 2 years old and belongs to my foster daughter (who is 19.) barney belongs to my 19 yr old daughter michelle. punkin is 13 and in charge of all of us!

yes, i'd rather have a killed barney than a live cicada or other helpful bug set loose in my house!
 
you have no idea. Willie's now brought me two HUGE cicadas. and they click against the hardwood floors or the tile, and then he bats it around as if it were a toy, then puts it in his mouth, then freaks out because it is moving in his mouth, so he puts it down, stares at it, bats it around, puts it in his mouth.... gah!

Karrie's reaction is tame compared to what mine was!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

ugh, christie, i have a vivid image of the sensation of a live cicada rattling around in willie's mouth now! :shock: ewwww. cats can be so repulsive - although, i must say that i think dogs are far worse in their doggy-repulsive factor!

punkin is an excellent bird hunter. i can't tell you how many times i found "gifts" when i stepped out the front door. generally he was kind enough to separate the head from the body and leave BOTH for me, sweet little boy. :lol:

that's why he's an indoor kitty now. i feed the birds in the back and it seemed a little, uh, contradictory or perhaps insane, to lure the birdies to the yummy sunflower seeds and then let punkin kill them.
 
We feed the birds too, call it kitty tv! Fortunately our kitties are poor hunters, unless they grab a poor bird who broke it's neck hitting a window.
 
I'm glad Henry hunts just mosquitos and we don't have cicadas or what ever they are up here. BLECH. I've seen them on the news and they show it from the drivers perspective.

Just got our replacement meter for my foster diabetic Hefner. He got into temptations this week so I was curious to see what his numbers are and as I feared they are up.... to 61! DCIN calls him a broken diabetic haha. His diabetes is broken and we aren't fixing it.

poor barney is so maligned! michelle used to have barney everything - backpack, sweatshirt, the whole works. too funny. she's just coming home and i'm wondering what she'll think when she see barney dead on the floor in here. mwahahaha.
