A lower start today than the last few days. Still yellow, but lower, which is nice. Now to see what she does with the dose increase.

I also have a meeting this afternoon - it'll be over zoom. I work at a college in the theatre portion of a department, and we're moving to a new building because of a new major that we think will succeed more if we're all in the same building. There isn't a theatre in the new building, but they are adapting one of the dance studios into a space we can use as a theatre. They also have to build a new costume shop, and move some classroom spaces (that will require build), and our media studies department is moving into the building. So lots of stuff happening. All of which they said would be ready for the start of this fall. Classes start August 26. I go back to work August 15. Today's meeting is on what they need to cut because the projected budget it too high and they're hoping to start construction on Monday. I do not have high hopes of this semester not being a giant cluster. So that's fun.

Hello Alicia. I hope Kit shows you some nblues and green soon. No limes :D
That sounds like a fun meeting. Hopefully you will be surprised in a good way. Our high school is in construction, has been for the last year, there is a huge hole in the lower level by the music rooms, the parking lot looks like they are digging a pool, the cafeteria is not finished (they ate lunch in a fieldhouse for the last year), and school starts in a month. I wish schools had bigger budgets. Education should be a priority, in my mind!

She saw some blues, which was nice. I hope she doesn't go to high now that she's started her way back up. She's still working on filling that depot though.

It was about what I expected. The don't have the money to do everything, so they're tabling the lobby/box office (hahahah - what, sell tickets for things? hahahah) and the dressing rooms (what, actors need a place to get dressed and put on makeup that isn't a glorified locker room with just lockers and benches? hahahahahaah). I was sort of hoping they would push the costume area back a bit, and leave costumes in the current building where the scene shop is also currently staying for the moment, so I don't have to be alone in the old building while everyone else goes to the new space. Alas, I shall be alone. :(

Glad Kit saw some blues today. Let’s see what the depot does as it fills.

Sounds like a lot of changes at work, Alicia. I hope the changes make for a better program and more support for you and the students. You work so hard on these shows each semester.

Enjoy the last few weeks of your vacation. It goes so quickly, doesn’t it?
Wishing you and Kit a calm night (and Eric, too )

I'm hoping she'll start to show better numbers. But it might also just be the up and down game we have to play until she gets her dental in October. Or it's not that and she's just old. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So many changes, and the administration has told us that we have to succeed, or we lose the program (who has a liberal arts program without theatre/dance/music though?!?). I really need to start on rewriting my job description, because that will have changed between last year and this year, and I need to work on my syllabus for my fall class, since it's a new one. But it's full, and I have two folks on a waitlist wanting to get in, so that's nice!

I hope your household has a nice calm evening. :bighug:
